Busan(Dong-gu)

This is an observatory located along sanbok-ro road in Choryang-dong, Dong-gu, Busan. A mail box was installed to celebrate the arts and literature of famous poet Yu Chi-hwan. The observatory is divided into two levels. The first level consists of a terraced outdoor performance stage, while the second level is the arts exhibition area, covered in a full glass design.

Jagalchi Market is the largest seafood market in Korea and one of Busan’s most well-known tourist attractions. The festival takes place every autumn and its slogan is “Oiso! Boiso! Saiso! (“Come! See! Buy!” in the Busan accent)”. The huge size and bustling, lively atmosphere makes a visit to Jagalchi Market a unique experience for many visitors. Small food stalls serve fresh inshore hagfish grilled on briquette fires along with other unusual sea creatures and sashimi-sliced fish at market prices. 


Busan(Haeundae-gu) , Haeundae

Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) is one of the largest film festivals in Korea. Beginning in 1996 as the first international film festival in Korea, it is now a major global event.Held in Haeundae and Nampo-dong, Busan, the festival presents over 300 films from 70 countries. The main program themes include: A Window on Asian Cinema, New Currents, Korean Cinema Today, Korean Cinema Retrospective, World Cinema, Wide Angle, Open Cinema, and Special Programs in Focus.The festival also boasts a wide array of special events, outdoor performances and participatory programs. Tickets for opening and closing films can only be purchased online. 20% of seats for regular films (including films screened in theaters or outdoor venues) will be available for sale at on-site ticket booths. Main festival venues include Busan Cinema Center, CGV Centum City, Lotte Cinema Centum City, Megabox Haeundae and Community Media Center Busan. 


Busan(Yeongdo-gu)

Gonpo Cruise Boat takes you around the picturesque area of Taejongdae and Achi Island. Achi Island is well known for its abundance of Camellia trees and is sometimes referred to as Camellia Island. The Korea National Maritime University was established here in 1974. This 40-minute cruise guarantees magnificent views for all.


Busan(Dongnae-gu)

Dongbang Tourist Hotel, which went through a remodeling in February, uses clean water from nearby hot springs. As it is also located close to Geumgang Park, guests may take advantage of the opportunities for a convenient tour of the area.

Gombo Sikdang is proud to have served various fresh raw meat like omasum and liver for over 30 years thanks to its location close to Gupo slaughterhouse. Galbisal (beef short ribs), yukhoe (beef tartare), Daechang sogeumgui (grilled tripe), and Gopchang-jeongol (beef tripe hot pot) are famous meals in the restaurants. Also, Seonji-guk (ox blood stew) served after meat is another tasty item on the menu here.


Busan(Yeongdo-gu)

Exhibitions at the National Maritime Museum encompass all aspects of marine and ocean life. These include the culture, history, famous figures in the industry, maritime vessels, ocean creatures, ocean life experience, maritime industry, marine territory and development and ocean science. It is by far, one of the top maritime museums in Korea. The museum holds over 14,000 pieces of historic items and relics that have witnessed the history and are relevant to the future of the ocean life. These are on display in the eight different permanet  exhibition halls, the special exhibition hall and the children's exhibition hall. The museum also has a library, an aquarium, a grand auditorium, an outdoor performance stage, and a 4D theatre offering a multi-cultural experience to the visitors.
