This hanok (traditional Korean house) hotel combines the unique aesthetics of hanok and modern comfort. Its location near Jeonju Hanok Village, the central point of Jeonju tourism, gives it excellent access to destinations in Jeonju. As evident from its name, the hotel promises a comfortable stay in a hanok since its opening in 2018. The hotel complex stands on a plot of land spanning 19,840 m2, containing 11 residential buildings that are named after the Joseon kings and other facilities. The building Sukjonggwan contains four rooms. Each room is a self-contained unit made up of bedrooms and restrooms, furnished with a combination of hanok’s unique charms and modern comfort. Grade 1 Gold and Silver Rooms in particular have two beds and a whirlpool bathtub for the comfort of the guests. The view of the wooden exposed beams (Gold Room) speaks to the unique characteristics of hanok, while wooden pieces of furniture give the room an elegant finish. The scenery beyond the window wall is also the pride of the hotel. The hotel has about 150 parking spots, a hanok cafe, and the Convention Center with spaces such as Daejanggeum Hall, Saimdang Hall, Chungmugong Hall, and Hunminjeongeum Hall. Gangwon-do(Hongcheon-gun)

(Korea Quality Premier Class) Located at the foot of Jongjasan Mountain in Hongcheon County, Healience Seonmaeul offers a healing program run by experts in a serene natural environment without mobile phones or television. The name ‘Healience’ is a compound word combining ‘healing’ and ‘science’. The two accommodation buildings with two stories each – Garden Building and Forest Building - were also built with the concept of harmony with nature. The garden building was designed by world-class Korean architect Seung Hyo-Sang, under the theme of “aesthetics of the poor”, which implies an environmentally friendly concept. The first floor of the garden building features courtyards which allow for a sufficient amount of light, and a walk up to the second floor reveals a skylight with a view of the stars at night, allowing the guests to fall asleep in nature. Then, at the end of 2016, the forest building was designed by Korean architect Kim Joon-seong with the concept of “construction of correspond” (two or more objects correspond to each other), thus Healience Seonmaeul consists of a total of 88 guestrooms. The subtle lighting and simple furniture were decorated for the interior of the accommodations so that guests can take a good rest without any distraction and attend a healing program. Its most popular programs are yoga and meditation in a grove of pine nut trees.

Jeollanam-do(Gangjin-gun)

Bogeumjari is an antique hanok accommodation located in Gangjin Hanok Village. When she was about to retire after 40 years of career, the owner had a dream to return to her hometown and build a house with a large garden. She finished her living at an apartment, prepared the ground, set the frame with woods, and put up the tiled roof. She named the house Bogeumjari (nest) as she wished her daughter who led a busy life in a city with her children can visit the house to take a rest, as well as the travelers who visit Gangjin. The C-shaped hanok has to rooms. One is a floor-heated room that has walls made of cypress, and the heating system is operated by burning woods in the furnace. Another has a separate door that leads to an outdoor upper floor and a pavilion. Sitting on the pavilion in the middle of the garden, you can see the ridge of Wolchulsan Mountain and the greenness green tea field at a glance. On the first day of your visit, you will be served simple tea and fruits. Free breakfast cooked with vegetables from the family garden tastes the flavor of Jeollanam-do.
