Exhibitions at the National Maritime Museum encompass all aspects of marine and ocean life. These include the culture, history, famous figures in the industry, maritime vessels, ocean creatures, ocean life experience, maritime industry, marine territory and development and ocean science. It is by far, one of the top maritime museums in Korea.

The museum holds over 14,000 pieces of historic items and relics that have witnessed the history and are relevant to the future of the ocean life. These are on display in the eight different permanet  exhibition halls, the special exhibition hall and the children's exhibition hall. The museum also has a library, an aquarium, a grand auditorium, an outdoor performance stage, and a 4D theatre offering a multi-cultural experience to the visitors.

・Parking Facilities : 305 spaces available (including 19 large vehicles, 9 spaces for people with disabilities)

・Parking Fees : - Regular size (up to 15-person capacity): 1,000 won for the first two hours. 100 won for each additional 10 minutes up to 2,400 won per day.
- Large vehicles (16-person capacity and above): Fees are doubled from regular size fees.
* Free: Government officials, volunteers, artifact donor, person of national merit
* 50% discount: Small cars, people with disabilities, hybrid cars, multicultural family (upon presenting welfare or family sarang card)

Access

From Seoul Express Bus Terminal, take an express bus bound for Busan Bus Terminal. (Travel time: 4 hours and 30 minutes)
Take the subway to Nampo Station (Busan Subway Line 1), Exit 6.
Walk toward Yeongdodaegyo Bridge for about 80m and take Bus 66, 30, 88, 101, 113, or 135 and get off at the National Marintime Museum & International Cruise Terminal Bus Stop. (15 bus stops)
From the Bus stop, walk toward the side road of Busan Port Fire Station for about 8 minutes to arrive at the venue.
