The Wando Fishery and Folklore Museum, opened in May 2002 as the nation’s first fishing village museum, showcases the lifestyle of fishing villages and families, fishing know-how, facts about aquaculture, timeline of vessel developments, etc.
The museum was built for people to also learn about marine folklore, and as an addition to Wando's tourist attractions.

Access
From Central City Terminal in Seoul, take an express bus bound for Wando Bus Terminal.
Take a local bus bound for Wando-Namchang (Wanseo. Namseo) and get off at Jeongdo-ri Bus Stop. (15 bus stops)
Walk toward Jeongdo-ri Samgeori (three-way intersection), take a left and continue walking along Hwahongpo-gil Road for 1.54 km.
The museum will be on your left.
