Lee's Gimbap, located in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, mainly serves various gimbap dishes, such as vegetable gimbap, tuna gimbap, mushroom and bulgogi gimbap, and others. To keep its freshness, they give a discount for gimbap that has been sitting for over four hours, otherwise they dispose of it.

Though the restaurant Nolbumandu’s specialty used to be son-mandu (handmade dumplings), the restaurant is now even more famous for its tasty “jokbal” (glazed pig’s feet), which is by far the most popular item on its menu. The menu also includes tteok-manduguk (dumpling soup with rice cake slices) and several Chinese dishes. This relaxed restaurant is so popular with Seoul’s citizens that during dinnertime customers normally have to wait 30 minutes to be seated, but it’s definitely worth the wait.  

Gamiok proudly presents the deep and rich taste of Seolleongtang soup. Ox bones are boiled in a large pot for more than 15 hours (to reach their optimum flavor) and are served with kkakdugi (fermented red peppered kimchi) and Chinese lettuce kimchi, prepared fresh by the restaurant’s own chefs. Each dish served is the product of two generations of know-how and time-honored expertise.    

Housed in a 500-year-old building that was once home to descendants of Prince Gwangpyeong (the 5th son of King Sejong the Great), the restaurant was opened to the public in 1999 as a traditional restaurant serving Korean royal court cuisine. “Pilgyeong,” which means “always be respectful to the elderly,” is indeed a place that honors the past by serving as a beacon of tradition and flavor in the downtown Seoul area.

Butterfinger Pancakes is a specialty waffle and pancake shop. They offer a variety of waffles and pancakes, so it is very popular place to have brunch. Arrive early to ensure a spot.  

Alla Prima is a fusion restaurant operated by chef Kim Jinhyeok, famous for his creative dishes. The restaurant offers dishes combining Asian and Italian cusine.

It has been 40 years since this restaurant opened its doors under the name Nampo Myeonok (남포면옥) and became one of the traditional restaurants as designated by the Seoul City Government. Thin strips of beef and vegetables, cold noodles, and dumpling soup in Pyeongan-do style with little white radish kimchi are said to be the best dishes of Nampo Myeonok. Keungiwajip is a Korean restaurant specializing in seafood and set menus. The most popular dish is ganjang gejang (soy sauce marinated crab).Located within close proximity of the famous Samcheong-dong tourist area, Keungiwajip is easily accessible by subway.

Since 1959, Nampo Samgyetang (남포 삼계탕) in the heart of Busan has been serving samgyetang (chicken ginseng soup) made with fresh, homegrown ingredients. Brewed for as long as 24 hours, the restaurant's chicken stock is rich in flavor and nutrition. Other special dishes include jeonbok samgyetang (chicken ginseng soup with abalone) and jeongi gui (electric grilled chicken).
