【Korean Travel】 Special Opening of Gyeonghoeru Pavilion Starting April 1
With start of spring, Gyeonghoeru Pavilion, the most beautiful place in Gyeongbokgung Palace, will have a special opening. From April 1 to October 31, pre-reserved visitors can enjoy the beauty of Gyeonghoeru Pavilion for seven months. The two-story Gyeonghoeru Pavilion, located within the pond of Gyeongbokgung Palace served as a banquet venue for celebrations or to welcome and entertain foreign envoys during the Joseon period. During the special opening period, visitors will be able to enjoy Gyeonghoeru Pavilion that is usually restricted. To visit Gyeonghoeru Pavilion, reservation through Gyeongbokgung Palace website is required. The guided tour in Korean will take approximately 30-40 minutes. More Info Special Opening of Gyeonghoeru Pavilion Starting April 1 ☞ Period: Apr. 01 – Oct. 31 ☞ Gyeonghoeru Pavilion operating hours: Three times per day on weekdays (10:00, 14:00, 16:00), four times per day on weekends (10:00, 11:00, 14:00, 16:00) * Closed every Tuesday ☞ Starting point: In front of Hamhongmun, the middle gate of Gyeonghoeru (Must arrive 5 min. prior to the tour with reservation paper) ☞ Reservation - Make reservation here - Reservation can be made six days prior and up to 23:00 a day before prefer date.
