Seoul(Jongno-gu) , Seoul City Hall・Gwanghwamun

The Gwanghwamun International Art Festival is designed to increase public knowledge and appreciation for the arts and culture. In addition to the art exhibitions, visitors will also be able to enjoy various performances and try different kinds of arts and crafts such as ceramics, silver handicrafts, leather handicrafts, and  more. The festival is also making a continuous effort to deliver more exciting programs and activities for the visitors' enjoyment.


Chungcheongnam-do(Seosan-si)

Seosan Chrysanthemum Festival takes place at in apple orchard in Gagu-ri, Gobuk-myeon, Seosan-si, Chungcheongnam-do. The festival grounds are decorated with color chrysanthemum exhibitions amidst bright red apples. Visitors can enjoy taking photos of the fully blooming flowers and ripe apples at this festival full of the scent of autumn.  


Chungcheongnam-do(Taean-gun)

Taean F Festival is a flower festival held annually in the Sinon-ri area in Nam-myeon. During the festival, various cultural events and flower markets are held against the backdrop of beautiful flowers. Taean F Festival holds a themed festival for each season: tulips in spring, lilies in summer, lights in winter, and autumn flowers in fall. During the lily festival in summer, the venue is covered with lilies in shades of white, yellow, plum and red. The lake in the middle of the venue will be decorated in the theme of “Byeoljubu” (traditional Korean story of the Turtle and the Rabbit). There will be rabbit village to the left, a tortoise village to the right, and a character village on the perimeter of the venue. Hands-on programs such as feeding animals, making cookies, making soap bubbles, and making masks and face painting are also available.


Seoul(Mapo-gu) , Hongik-University-Area

Seoul Fringe Festival, the most representative independent arts festival of Korea, is held annually to support indie culture by introducing various genres of artists and artworks. Festival-goers can meet many works of operations, and through the various methods of attempt and communication channels used, explore the charm of dances, plays, music and more at the festival venues throughout the city.


Busan(Nam-gu)

Busan International Magic Festival is the largest magic festival in Asia. Taking place on the famous Haeundae Beach and at Busan Citizen's Hall, this year's festival is expected to introduce 100 magicians from different countries to perform in various magic shows. What is more, fans of magic will have a chance to interact with noted magic gala shows, Busan International Magic Contest, lectures by noted magicians, global kids magic show, magic dramas, and more, making this festival a unique type of magic festival.


Jeju-do(Seogwipo-si) , Seogwipo

Seogwipo Chilsimni was originally was the name of a 27 km strip of land from Seongeup Village to Seogwipo Harbor in Jeju Island. However, over the years it has come to mean “homeland” for Jeju citizens. The Seogwipo area is also one of the most popular tourist destinations in Jeju due to its beautiful ocean landscapes.The festival’s program includes folk performances rooted in Jeju’s history, legends, and natural environment. There are also a variety of ocean sports activities, which are very popular with visitors.


Gangwon-do(Yeongwol-gun)

The Danjong Culture Festival, a major festival of Yeongwol-gun in Gangwon-do, is scheduled to be held for three days from April 25 to 27, 2014 around the Jangneung Tomb area. The festival is a historic cultural event held annually since 1967 in memory of King Danjong (the 6th monarch of the Joseon Dynasty) and his loyal subjects. It was originally called Danjongje and was renamed to Danjong Culture Festival in 1990. In the beginning, it was held for three days starting on the day before Hansik Day, which is April 5 by the Gregorian calendar, except in leap years (the 105th day after Dongji). Since this date changes every year, it was later decided that the festival should be held from the last Friday of April instead.


Seoul(Seocho-gu) , Gangnam・Samseongdong(COEX)

Arts Council Korea is to host 2016 ARKO Contemporary Orchestra Music Festival for Yangak (Western music) on January 26, 2016 at 20:00 at Concert Hall of Seoul Arts Center, lead by Choi Suyeol and played by Gyeonggi Philharmonic Orchestra. ARKO Contemporary Orchestra Music Festival (a.k.a. Achangje) tries to find up-to-date art pieces reflecting Korean composer’s innovative creativity and plays a big role in creative Korean music. First performed through Achangje, the performances are again performed at other locations nationally and internationally, including European countries.These music pieces are sure to be cherished for many years by audiences. Seoul(Jung-gu)

Seoul International Cartoon & Animation Festival (SICAF) is one of major animated film festivals in the nation. It is held throughout Seoul Square, Myeong-dong Station area, and Seoul Animation. The festival introduces various exhibitions by reinterpreting and rediscovering animation and comics through various exhibitions, animation movie festivals and other various events.


Jeollanam-do(Gokseong-gun)

Gokseong-gun, famous for the its train village, has been holding annual event of Gokseong Rose Festival at the Rose Park located within the train village complex. Rose varieties from different parts of the world under the three themes of love, scent and dream will be on display during the festival at 1004 Rose Park.
