Seoul Friendship Fair

The year 2013 marks the 18th anniversary of the Seoul Friendship Fair. This year’s festival will be attended by 300 performance teams from sister cities from over 14 different countries as well as teams from foreign embassies, tour agencies, and cultural centers from over 60 countries. A wide spectrum of unique culture events will be taking place, including traditional performances and sampling of cuisine from around the world. Other events include traditional costume shows and a traditional folk art exhibition.

Healing Music Festival
Gyeonggi-do(Paju-si) , Paju(Heyri Art valley)

Healing Music Festival first began in 2008 with a theme of abundant and relaxing music meeting nature. This year, the festival will be held in Imjingak Pyeonghwa-Nuri Park. Around 20 domestic and overseas musicians who are noted for their healing music are invited. Along with the healing music stage, a “Healing Playground” featuring treatment of mind and body through artistic programs will be offered. Participants can heal their mind and body at this music festival.

Seoul 365 Fashion Show

Seoul 365 Fashion Show is a project presented by Seoul Metropolitan Government and the community. Streets of Seoul transform into runways and people of Seoul gather as models to showcase a variety of stylish outfits. Seoul 365 Fashion Show aims to close the gap between fashion and the general public by encouraging the community to actively participate and enjoy this multi-cultural fashion project. The fashion show also contributes in creating job opportunities by supporting over 100 youths who dream to become a model. Candidates selected to model for Seoul 365 Fashion Show receive professional model training and will be able to explore diverse career opportunities.

Daejong Film Festival
Seoul(Yeongdeungpo-gu)

Designed to promote Korean films, Daejong Film Festival is the oldest film award ceremony in Korea and the only film award program hosted by the government. The festival screens and honors many of the past year’s movies and provides a weeklong opportunity for the public to enjoy nominated selections free-of-charge. Each year’s winners are selected based on opinions of festival-goers and film experts. The event brings together fans, the media and people from across the film industry for an exciting public event.Festival Information:The festival selects and awards notable films released in the last year. As the most prestigious industry award program in Korea, the Daejong Film Awards hundreds of Korean stars together in one place. In the hours leading up to the ceremony, visitors wait outside for stars to grace the red carpet. Dasan Wall Fortress Art Market

The region of Hansan-myeon is famous for producing ramie, one of the world’s oldest fabric crops. The Hansan Ramie Fabric Cultural Festival celebrates the high quality, luxury clothing that is produced from ramie fabric and which receives wide acclaim. Many people journey to this festival to see the beautiful clothes on display. One of the main events is a fashion show, and visitors will also have the opportunity to try on some of the clothes and even try out the fabric weaving process. The ramie crop is also used in making food, and at the festival visitors can try rice cakes, ice cream, tea and other refreshments all made from ramie. Oktoberfest
Gyeongsangnam-do(Namhae-gun)

Held annually in October, German Village's Oktoberfest features exhibitions related to the history of the South Korean nurses and miners who went to work in Germany in the 1960's and 1970's. Those who moved back to Korea were instrumental in the establishment of German Village.Visitors can try German food and drinks such as beer and sausages, enjoy German cultural performances, or participate in beer-related games, and competitions.

Original Drawing Show
