Bukchon Music Festival

Bukchon Music Festival aims to showcase various contemporary music genres including world music, jazz, classic, and indie music, centered on Korean traditional music in the area of Bukchon in Seoul. The festival is a music festival carrying out varied artistic attempts to break the barrier between traditional and contemporary art. About 20 artistic teams from different genres will play their love songs along the streets of Bukchon, so passersby can enjoy listening to the music for free if they like the song. Changnyeong Nakdonggang Youchae Festival
Gyeongsangnam-do(Changnyeong-gun)

The Nakdonggang Yuchae Festival is an annual event held during mid to late April in a canola flower field in the Namji-eup area of Changnyeong. The festival offers live performances; an experience hall of insects and birds; agricultural and specialty product exhibition, sales, and experience, and promotion booth; Namji Cheolgyo Gallery; yuchae photo rally, and other events for visitors to enjoy the beautiful scenery of yellow canola flower in full bloom with the blue thread of the Nakdonggang River.

Gangjin Celadon Festival

Between the 10th and 14th centuries, the Gangjin area was a flourishing celadon production site. Today, 16 kilns remain active, and produce some of the most precious celadons. The Gangjin Celadon Festival is a perfect opportunity to see the timeless beauty of celadon production, and to experience it oneself. Twinkle Concert in the Palace

The Twinkle Concert in the Palace concert series runs at 2pm and 4pm on the last Saturday and Sunday of the month in May, June, September and October. Silla Sori Festival - Emille
Gyeongsangbuk-do(Gyeongju-si)

Silla Sori Festival mainly focuses on the King Seongdeok Divine Bell (Emille Bell), established during the Unified Silla period, and takes place in Gyeongju, embracing its thousand-year-old heritage. The festival is managed by BBS (Buddhist Broadcasting System), and sponsored by Gyeongju-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do, Bulguksa Temple and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The festival venue is a grass field around Cheomseongdae Observatory, where the varied programs such as the tolling of the model Emille Bell, weighting about 6 tons, and Silla Culture experience, reappearance of Silla Gandeunghoe (lamp ceremony) and others are prepared. The festival has been held since 2012 to acknowledge the value of the ‘King Seongdeok Divine Bell’, featuring the most beautiful bell existing in the world, made in our own way, and honoring the spirit.
