Starting from Gonaepogu Port, Route 16 passes through Namduyeondae (beacon tower), Gueompogu Port, Susanbong Peak, Susan Reservoir Path, Hangmong Historical Site, Cheonghwa Village and finally ending at Gwangnyeong 1-ri Office.
The trail is a 17.8-km walking course that includes uphill sections, passing through the woods, and going up some steps after Sineompogu Port. Therefore, it may not be suitable for baby carriages and wheelchairs.

Tourism Course
The trail is a relatively long path and although it is not high, features oreum as well as a forest road. It is 16.9 km long from Sineompogu Port, featuring stairs and passing through a forest, making it unsuitable for taking with a baby carriage and wheelchairs throughout the whole path.

[From Jeju-si to starting point (Gonaepogu Port)]
1) Take Intercity Bus No. 702 (Intercity Bus to West Coast Line) at Jeju Intercity Bus Terminal to Gonae Bus Stop (55 min).
2) Walk for 5 minutes toward Gonaepogu Port, the starting point of Route 15.
[From Seogwipo-si to starting point (Gonaepogu Port)]
1) Take Intercity Bus No. 702 (Intercity Bus to West Coast Line) at Seogwipo Intercity Bus Terminal to Gonaepogu Port Bus Stop (80 min).
2) Walk for 5 minutes toward Gonaepogu Port, the starting point of Route 15.

Access
[Getting to Gonaepogu Port]
From Jeju Intercity Bus Terminal or Seogwipo Intercity Bus Terminal, take the West Coast Line Intercity Bus (서회선일주시외버스).
Get off at Gonae Bus Stop and walk towards Gonaepogu Port (approx. 5 minutes).
[Going back to Jeju-si / Seogwipo-si from the end point]
To Jeju-si:
From Gwangnyeong 1-ri Office, take city bus 887 that goes through Nohyeong Rotary (노형로터리) - Jeju Int'l Airport Entrance - City Hall - Ara-dong (아라동) or the Junghansan bus (중간산버스) that goes through Hallim - Nohyeong - Jeju. The last stop is Jeju Intercity Bus Terminal.
To Seogwipo-si, walk eastward toward Musucheon Bridge (무수천 다리) about 10 minutes and take a Western Tour Road Bus (서부관광도로버스) (via Pyeonghwa-ro; 평화로) at the bus stop on Musucheon Bridge.
