Mangsang Beach is sought out by many families and tourists, as it is characterized by beautiful white sands, shallow waters, and is located in a neighborhood full of leisure facilities. Mangsang Beach is a beach that represents the east coast, along with Okgye and Gyeongpo Beaches, located in the northeastern region of Gangwon-do’s Donghae City.
The beach boasts white sands that stretch out for 1.4 km, a pine tree forest, clear shallow waters, and convenient leisure facilities that attract a constant flow of tourists throughout the four seasons. This area also features a great variety of foods including blue crabs, clams, sea squirts, and flounders.

Dong Seoul Terminal (Subway line 2, Gangbyeon Station) → Donghae, Est. Travel Time: 3hrs 20min with cars departing every hour, first car at 7:10, last car at 20:05pm

From Donghae to Chuam Beach
1. Take the city bus headed for Mangsang in front of KT next to Dongbu Express Bus Terminal (buses depart at 15-20min intervals, and every 5min during the summertime) and get off at Mangsang Beach (30min travel time). 10min by taxi.
2. Take the city bus headed for Mangsang across the street from Donghae Shiwae Bus Terminal (buses depart at 15-20min intervals, and every 5min during the summertime) and get off at Mangsang Beach. 40min travel time altogether. 20min by taxi.
3. Take the city bus headed for Mangsang across the street from Donghae Station (buses depart at 15-20min intervals, and every 5min during the summertime) and get off at Mangsang Beach. 40min travel time altogether. 10~15min by taxi.
