Overview
The Odusan Unification Observatory opened to the public in 1992. It is one of the national tourist spot where foreigners choose to visit and experience the stark reality of the divided Peninsula. From this observation platform, Songaksan Mountain in the city of Gyeseongi and 63 Building in Seoul are visible.This observatory has five floors above ground and one underground. Various photos and computerized screens showing the reality of North Korea are displayed on the first and second floor. Products from North Korea can also be purchased here.

How to get here by subway or bus, with a map.
Routes and travel time from your current location open in Google Maps. Naver Map is shown in Korean.
[Subway + Bus]
Daewha Subway Station (Seoul Subway Line 3), Exit 4 or 5.
- Walk to the bus station at the back of the exit.
- Take Bus No. 900 and get off at Unification Hill Observatory Bus Stop.
- Get on shuttle bus to Odusan Unification Observatory.
Hapjeong Station (Seoul Subway Line 2, 6), Exit 1 or 8.
- At the front of the train station, take Intercity Bus No. 2200.
- Get off at the Seongdongsageori Bus Stop and walk 1km toward Odusan Unification Observatory parking lot.
- Get on shuttle bus to Odusan Unification Observatory.

[Train]
From Seoul Station, take Gyeongui Line and get off at Geumchon Station (Departs every 10 min / 1 hour ride). Then take Bus No. 900.
