Hollowed into the rocks of Mt Seoraksan, about 600 meters above sea level, you will find Geumganggul Cave. This 23 square meters cave was once used as a place of worship, and contains a stone sitting Buddha and some earthenware. The route up the cave is quite steep, and visitors must walk across a few bridges and up concrete stairways. However, you will be rewarded with a captivating view of Cheonbuldong Valley.The hiking trail from Seorakdong to Geumganggul Cave, which also passes by Biseondae, is 3.6 kilometers long and takes about 1 hour and 40 minutes.

Beginning with a chic French restaurant in 1996, Provence Village is a themed village with a shabu-shabu restaurant, a garden restaurant offering delicious grilled meat, a Provence Living Gallery decorated with beautiful interior designs, an Herb Village full of sweet fragrance, a Fashion Gallery, a European bakery and cafes.Each unique shop is connected to other shops in the village. An art studio offers a wide array of dishes used in cafes and restaurants in the village; the Living Gallery not only decorates Provence Village, but also makes decorative items such as hand-painted ceramics, available for purchase; and the European bakery boasts fresh, delicious breads. Each shop is an independent unit with a unique design concept. The Living Gallery offers shops selling ceramics, flowers, and herbs, while the Fashion Gallery consists of shops offering clothing, accessories, and interior design items. The Herb Garden in the village, in addition, hosts a wide array of cultural events and performances for visitors. 

Hanbat Museum of Education (est. July 10, 1992) is home to 7 exhibition halls, 3 smaller exhibition areas, and outdoor exhibit areas displaying a total of 27,000 pieces of education-related items such as old school textbooks, educational books, student files, stationery, and more. The museum is particularly popular as a fieldtrip destination for area students.Exhibition chambers at the museum house documents and items that bear witness to the history of education from the olden days (i.e. village Confucian schools) to the present. Also on display are folk materials on the ancient educational institutions of the past and the daily lives of students. Thanks to the extent and variety of its documents, the museum is a great educational institution that not only preserves the history of education in Korea, but also sheds light on hundreds of years of life, tradition, and culture.The museum building, built on June 8th, 1938, is the oldest one in the city. Used as a school and later a military base for the U.N. Peace Corps and North Korean soldiers during the Korean War, the building has never been renovated and still bears the bullet holes and other marks of its tumultuous history. In recognition of its historical importance as a local structure, the museum was designated Cultural Property Material No. 50.

This venue seamlessly fuses the realms of art, design, and everyday living, offering visitors a unique perspective and experience.

Eagle Valley Ski Resort (Formerly Sajo Resort) at the top of Suanbo’s Hwangsan Valley was the only combined hot springs and ski resort until construction of other hot springs/ski resorts in 1995. The resort prides itself in making safety a priority and has ski officials (who have health and safety certification) patrolling the slopes. Other major draws of the resorts are its famed hot springs and its convenient location. The resort is easily accessible from Seoul and other major cities, and is located nearby a variety of popular tourist attractions.The Eagle Valley Ski Resort runs a shuttle bus service, however, the operating schedule varies by season. Modern History Experience Hall Gyesanyega is a public space designed for rest and education. The hall is located in the center of the modern history streets of Jung-gu, downtown Daegu. Visitors can enjoy a moment of relaxation while touring Daegu Modern History Street, as well as learn more about the history of the area through the video hall and about the houses featured along the way, such as House of Yi Sang-hwa and House of Seo Sang-don, at the hanok exhibition hall.

The ‘Tium Hangeul Museum’, located in Paju’s Heyri Art Valley (where every structure is a work of art) is the first cultural space dedicated to the Hangeul language. The complex is designed entirely to promote the value of Hangeul to children and young guests. The building houses the Hangeul Experience Center, Studio, and Cultural Space which provide unique facts and information on Hangeul as well as hands-on experiences. At Ggomjirak/Jomulrak Studio, visitors can enjoy the beauty of Hangeul by participating in many of the hands-on cultural experiences. These include making Hangeul glass arts & crafts, designing their own Hangeul t-shirts and enjoying an old-fashioned typewriter on display. Also within the building is the Udangtang Hangeul Factory where kids can learn the history behind the creation of Hangeul while enjoying a variety of animated programs and other fun features. Snacks, seasonal beverages and a range of Hangeul-related products are also available inside the cultural space.  

"Where the beauty of Korean music and traditional art is found"Opened on July 14th, 2004, as a branch of Gyeonggi Arts Center, it is the home to members of the Gyeonggi Korean Traditional Music Center production company. It currently consists of a professional concert hall and educational facilities, covering approximately 1,600 square meters of space (2 stories and a basement). The center is devoted to cultivating traditional Korean music, equipped with a concert hall of 470 seats including 6 seats for the handicapped, dressing rooms, ensemble halls, and educational facility rooms. Inspired by the "2005 Visit Gyeonggi Korea" tourism program, the center helps to promote traditional Korean spirit to all visitors, and firmly establish itself as a new venue for connecting the past and the present in Korean cultural arts.

Petite Joong-Ang Family Museum is a family-owned museum that showcases the antiquities of Oriental medicine, as practiced by a local family for three generations or 90 years in the city of Yangnyeong known for its 350-year-old medicinal herb market. The tools used by the family including scales, medicine bowls, prescriptions and manuscripts of Oriental medicine tell the history of Oriental medicine in Korea as well as the family's dedication to treatment with Oriental medicine. The museum serves its visitors with healthy Oriental medicine tea, while the living family members offer free medical consultation.
