Samsung Innovation Museum is an electronic industrial museum run by Samsung, a major global company based in Korea. The museum mainly consists of three sections. Visitors can learn about the history of Korea's electronic industry, as well as the past, present and future of the semiconductor, display and mobile industries, where Samsung made great achievements. The museum also runs an education facility called Children's Display Research Institute.

Haeinsa Temple was founded during the third year of King Ae-Jang's reign (802), by two monks Suneung and Ijung. The name "Haein" originates from the expression Haeinsammae of Hwaeomgyeong (Buddhist scripture), which means truly enlightened world of Buddha and our naturally undefiled mind.Along with the Tripitaka Koreana (National Treasure No.32) and Janggyeongpanjeon (National Treasure No. 52), 15 more public treasures and some 200 private treasures are enshrined at Haeinsa Temple, which has been appointed as a universal cultural heritage since December, 1995 for its many cultural properties and historical remains. Iljumun, Daejeokgwangjeon and the Tripitaka Koreana are recognized as famous treasures. Iljumun Gate was the first gate that every sattva must pass to become a Buddha and considered as a representative work of ancient architecture. Daejeokgwangjeon, the grand sanctuary, and the three-story stone pagoda in the yard possess the majestic appearance of the one thousand-year-old temple. Since the 23rd year of Goryeo Dynasty (year 1236), it took 16 years to finish the Tripitaka Koreana, the most famous national treasure of Haeinsa Temple, which was made as a wish to overcome the national crisis caused by Mongolia Invasion. The printing blocks are 68cm wide, 24.5cm long, 3 cm thick with wood fixed at each end to maintain balance and lacquer was applied to prevent corrosion. Silver magnolias growing near the South Sea and Geojae area were cut down, soaked in sea water for several years and then dried to make these printing blocks. The blocks are a result of the king and his people's effort to repulse the Mongolian army with support from Buddha. Located at the center of international business district within Songdo International City, Songdo Central Park was designed to reuse rainwater effectively and reduce heat island effect as much as possible. It is also the first city in Korea to make a lakeside park using seawater. Visitors can enjoy a water taxi ride on the man-made waterway, take a stroll along the promenades or various themed meadows around.

Baegmagang River (백마강), which literally means ‘the largest river in the Baekje Kingdom’, refers to the 16km-long Geumgang River.There are many historic sites all along Baegmagang River, which flows around Mt. Busosan, including Cheonjeongdae Altar (천정대), where important national affairs of the Baekje Dynasty were determined, Nakhwaam Rock (낙화암), Joryongdae Rock, Gudeure, BusanㆍDaejaegak Pavilion, Jaondae Rock and Subukjeong Pavilion.* Joryongdae Rock (조룡대)A small island-like rock on the Baegmagang riverside* Daejaegak Pavilion (대재각)Daejaegak Pavilion is located at the Baegmagang River cliff across from the Gudeure Ferry. Yangji Pine Resort is an all-season recreational complex located in the magnificent Dokjosan Mountain in Gyeonggi-do. The Resort offers offers numerous ski runs. The Avec Course is particularly popular with experienced skiers, while the Snow Park Course offers various obstacle courses (for both skiers and snowboarders). Yangji Pine Resort’s top rated run is the Challenger Course, where the yearly ‘National Alpine Ski Competition’ takes place. Many diverse events are held at the Resort involving skiers and snowboarders, such as training courses, snowboarding competitions, and snowboarding shows featuring professional snowboarders. Recently, the main route to the resort, Yeongdong Highway, has been expanded, and the resort’s main facilities and condominiums have all been remodeled as well to better accommodate the guests.

At Jirisan Spa Land is home to a large open-air hot spring facility that uses 100 percent natural germanium mineral waters containing no chemical additives. The natural germanium mineral water in the spa prevents various kinds of adult illnesses, speed up metabolism and improve your body’s immune system. The water also helps blood circulation digestion and stabilizes your body temperature that surely makes you feel good after taking a bath. A bath themed with 12 of Chinese zodiac signs, a Japanese cypress bath, a Shangri-La bade pool and a waterfall bath are located in open-air spa area. Apart from the huge spa area, Jirisan Spa Land also has a hotel equipped with 60 high-end modern bedrooms and subsidiary facilities. Each guest room has natural germanium mineral water.

Jeju Starlight World Park and Planetarium is a theme park that was established in 2009 for advancing research and studies in astronomy. Today, it is also used as a center for public astronomy education.The Park features a main observatory with a 600㎜ Cassegrain's reflecting telescope, and a subsidiary observatory with one 80㎜ refracting telescope, one 157㎜ refracting telescope, five 200㎜ reflecting telesctopes, and one 200㎜ catadioptric telescope. Additionally, it has 4D theater, a planetarium, a two-story exhibition hall showcasing outer space journey, as well as several meeting/conference facilities. There is also a sundial and two observation binoculars on the outdoor square.

Mureung Valley, which spans from Dutasan Mountain and Cheongoksan Mountain, refers to a four-kilometer stretch from Hoamso Pond – where, according to legend, a tiger drowned to death – to Yongchu Falls, located upstream.The waters of Mureung Valley flow over wide sheets of rock and into the cracks between them, forming a large and particularly nice pond along the path. Starting at Mureung Rock, a wide sheet of single rock on which hundreds can sit, the valley twists and turns around Samhwasa Temple, Haksodae Falls, Okryudong, and Seonnyeotang Ravine, all the way to Ssangpok and Yongchu Falls, providing breathtaking scenery along the way. Also known as Arcadia, scholars and poets frequented the valley in times past, and the 5,000 squar meters of Mureung Rock bears the inscribed names of some of these poets and their work. The valley offers a medley of curious-looking rocks and stones, and other odd scenery that attracts many tourists. 

Originally a normal neighborhood just like any other, Yeonnam-dong recently saw an increase in the number of young artists and designers who call this place home. One by one, the streets began to fill up with unique shops, drawing in more and more visitors with each passing day.
