Mokpo Natural History Museum is located inside of Gatbawi Neighborhood Park which is one of the major tourism attractions of the southwest coast region in Yonghae-dong, Mokpo-si, Jeollanam-do. The museum consists of a natural history building, local history building and has a total of three floors, two of which are above ground.

From Central City Bus Terminal, take an express bus bound for Mokpo Bus Terminal.
- In front of the terminal, take bus 13 and get off at Useong APT Bus Stop. (11 bus stops)
- Transfer to Bus 7 and get off at National Maritime Museum Bus Stop (국립해양유물전시관). (4 bus stops)
The venue is located on the right side. (about 103m, 2 minutes by foot)

Or, take a taxi to the venue from the bus terminal. (about a 10-min ride)
