Seoul(Gangnam-gu)

Garosugil Homestay, located in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu, is a domestic-style guest house. The owner, who worked as a Japanese interpreter for 37 years, established the guest house after his/her daughter’s marriage, offering guests the highest level of comfort and an excellent standard of communication in Japanese. It has a communal kitchen equipped with various cooking utensils including a variety of plates and bowls that are suitable for different dishes. All the bedding is cotton. As used bedding will be washed and ironed perfectly, the guest house only accepts guests for a minimum of two nights. Garosu-gil Road, which is a hotspot among young people in Seoul, is only three minutes’ walk away from the guest house. In addition, it offers easy access to public transportation as it is only five minutes from the nearest bus stop and seven minutes from the nearest subway station by foot. Room B, which is slightly larger than Room A, has an extended terrace.


Gyeongsangnam-do(Geoje-si)

Located in beautiful Jangseungpo Harobor of Geoje-si, Gyeongnam, the Lighthouse is close to a lighthouse in sea-smelled shore. You can watch the view of Jangseungpo Harbor from the room and enjoy sea fishing at the front port. Many tourists visit here because it is a good tour place with Oedo Marine Park and Jangseungpo Passenger Ship Terminal for touring Geoje Haegeumgang are located right in front. There are nearby tourist attractions like Sinseon Observatory, Windy Hill and popular Mongdol Beach.

“The Place Seoul” is located in a small alley in Gyedong-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul. It is a guesthouse made by remodeling an 80-year-old traditional Korean house. The ondol room furnished with traditional beddings is popular not only among foreigners but also among Koreans due to its special ambience. The ceiling of the room dates back to 80 years ago. The rafter put on the roof at the time of construction of the house shows the antiqueness of the house. The toenmaru (a narrow wooden porch running along the outside of a room) that comes alive with the frequent coming and going of people adds to the ambience of the traditional Korean house, with the Sansuyu (corni) tree and vegetable garden beside the Korean-style house creating a leisurely atmosphere. Beyond being a mere place to sleep in, “The Place Seoul” aims to be a composite cultural space whose motto is “the place to fill.” A simple wedding or a small-scale performance is held in the garden during the day. The rooms can be rented for small meetings. “The Place Seoul” sponsors “WWOOF KOREA,” an NGO promoting environment-friendly agriculture as well as the right dietary life, “Slow Food Korea,” and “Slow Box.” As such, the place serves a special healthy breakfast consisting of homemade bread, handmade yogurt, and organic fruits and vegetables. In addition, the toilet paper, detergent, shampoo, etc. provided are all environment-friendly products. “The Place Seoul” is located on Gyedong-gil Road, a famous tourist attraction in Seoul. It offers easy access to Bukchon Hanok Village, which is on the other side of the Gyedong-gil alley, as well as other major tourist attractions within walking distance including Changdeokgung Palace, Gyeongbokgung Palace, Samcheong-dong, and Insa-dong. The convenient location of “The Place Seoul” makes it easy to tour downtown Seoul.


Busan(Gijang-gun)

The B&C Motel, located in Gijang, known as the ‘City of Water, Lights and Dreams,’ offers guests the best quality services and a clean environment. The pension has the lawn field for soccer and ball play, and the area for BBQ party and camp fire. Travelers can catch marsh snails and fishes in the river in front of the pension. Nearby, Gokseong train village, Seomjingang rafting, Seomjingang observatory and rail bike are 15-minute ride from the pension. The pension offers the pick-up service at Gokseong station and Gokseong bus terminal.


Gyeonggi-do(Paju-si)

Incheon(Ganghwa-gun) , Ganghwado Island

Damdamgak is a hanok (Korean-style house) that was built in the 1930's. Originally a private house, it is now open in the accommodation business. Currently managed by the Ganghwa Hanok Culture Research Institute, the house accommodates visitors looking for a traditional Korean living experience. The original features of the house such as the rafters, girders, and the furnace have been well kept over the long years, offering a great opportunity to experience the traditional style and grace of a hanok.


Gyeongsangbuk-do(Seongju-gun)

Gaya hotel is located 560m above the sea level, in Gayasan National Park, which is one of the cleanest area in Korea. The popular temple Haeinsa, which is holding mystaries from the ancient times and many cultural heritage sites of Gaya are closely located.
