Located in Imsil, Jeollabuk-do, Seongsusan Recreational Forest (성수산자연휴양림) grows in a deep valley that contains historic sites from the founding days of Goryeo through to the Joseon dynasty. Because of its secluded location and clean air the forest has recently become a new popular destination for summer vacationers. There is a children’s playground, and above it are condominium-type lodgings which can accommodate over 200 guests. There is a camping ground as well where all you hear are the sounds of flowing running water and chirping birds. It is an out-of-the-way little hideaway ideal for relaxation.

Mohang Beach

Mohang Beach is situated in Mohang, Docheong-ri in Byeonsan-myeon. It is set against the beautiful mountains of Byeonsan Peninsula National Park and the clear waters of the west coast. Dongjin Irrigation Folk Museum is established thanks to the members of Korea Rural Community Corporation who visited various farming areas to gather agriculture-related folk materials. Also, donations and active reactions from residents contributed to making the museum a vivid educational site for agricultural history. The Gimje area is a root of Korea's farming culture, as the place where rice farming begin 2,000 years ago, allowing visitors to meet old and new farming methods and tools together. Its folk materials related to irrigation and farming facilities and living tools provide visitors with the chance to learn the history of farming development in one place.

The hostel has seven guestrooms furnished with steel frame beds. The bathrooms and kitchen are shared among the guests, and there is a television in the kitchen. The rooms have a trendy interior design because it's mostly visited by young tourists. The guesthouse is just like one of those you can find in other countries, except cleaner.

Namwon Newly-appointed Governor’s Procession

Namwon Newly-appointed Governor’s Procession is a fusion performance about the parade for celebrating the appointment of Byeon Hak-do as Namwon governor in the story of Chunhyang, set in Gwanghallu Garden, one of Namwon’s representative cultural resource. The event connected to Gwanghallu Garden and the Chunhayng Theme Park takes place from April to November every year, giving various spectacles and activities to visitors. The parade starts from the Plaza of Love and ends at Gwanghallu Garden, where various shows such as Gisaeng Jeomgo, military processional music performance, Yukbang performance, and a fan dance by gisaeng (female entertainers) are performed. In addition, fun activities like experiencing the punishment of the Joseon Dynasty, folk games, and a photo event are arranged for visitors. This performance has been designated as a Standing Cultural Tourism Program for nine consecutive years since 2007.

'Jirisan Hanok Village is an old traditional Korean house located at the foot of Cheongwangbong Peak and Nogodan Peak in Daejeong-ri, Namwon-si, Jeollabuk-do. Most of its guests are families visiting the area during weekends particularly in summer, because Jirisan Baemsagol Valley and Nogodan Peak are only a 20-minute ride. A Nobel Prize Candidate in Literature stayed here in 2008 to write because of the picturesque landscape. Jirisan Hanok Village is a traditional Korean house with 16 rooms with floor area of 330㎡, and many poets, writers, and businessmen come to visit here often because of the natural surroundings.
