Naksan Temple Myogak, the day of Life Temple

- Please bring your personal belongings, shoes, socks and toothbrush.
  Uniforms, shoes, identification tags, individual lockers are offered by the temple.
  as well asa room with bedding, toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, towels and etc.) and water.

- Fees: Temple Stay (Adults 95,000 won / Teenagers 80,000 won),
Temple Life (Adults 50,000 won / Teenagers 40,000 won)

* Programs are designed for people who want to experience Korean Traditions and Buddhism.
* Regular programs include an orientation, making 108 prayer beads, bell-striking, the Buddhist ceremony, gongyang, meditation, early morning hiking, tea ceremony, dialogues with monks, etc.
* Special programs include experiencing Eight Holy Scenes from the Buddha's Life, making lotus lanterns, sutra, copying practice, and formal onastic meal
* English will be used in the programs, when there are many foreign participants.
* Towels, toothbrushes, comfortable footwear should be prepared by participants.

14:30-15:00: Filling out application and preparing for Opening Ceremony
Assigning individual lockers and distributing name tags
Learning temple etiquettes
15:00-16:30: Opening Ceremony and Introduction of Sunims
16:30-18:00: Making 108 prayer beads
18:00-19:00: Evening bell-striking and evening Buddhist ceremony
19:00-20:00: Temple dinner
20:00-21:30: Meditation
21:30- : Sleep

Day 2
03:20-04:00: Getting up and Preparing for Predawn Buddhist service
04:00-05:00: Bell-striking and Predawn Service
05:00-06:00: Early Morning Meditation
06:00-07:00: Taking a walk in Naksan Park
07:00-08:30: Temple breakfast
08:30-09:30: Tea Ceremony
09:30-10:00: Taking photos together and writing reviews
10:00- : Closing Ceremony

14:30-16:00: Learning the meaning of 108 prostrations and making 108 prayer beads

17:00-: Taking photos together and Closing Ceremony
