Located in Sinpung-ri, Yulchon-myeon, Yeosu-si, Jeollanam-do, Aeyangwon Church (Reverend Son Yangwon Martyr Memorial Hall) commemorates Reverend Son Yangwon. He began his religious activities and relief efforts at a group home for patients suffering from Hansen's Disease located in Aeyangwon Church, but he was later detained at Yeosu Police Office because he refused to honor Japanese Shinto shrines in 1940. The Memorial Hall's construction was completed on March 27, 1994 in order to commemorate Son Yangwon, who was shot and killed by the North Korean army during the Korean War. The exhibition hall on the first floor displays photos of Son, photos related to Christianity, keepsakes and calligraphy artwork, and the exhibition hall on the second hall displays his prison writings and old books.

Daeyoo Land opened in 1978 as a hunting ground and shooting range and recently opened an ATV (All-Terrain Vehicle) track. Modo Island was once called Ttiseom because of the Ttipul grasses on the island. Ttipul is type of grass native to Korea. It was also called Ttiseom because there were many houses with thatched roofs made with dried Ttipul on the island. The name Modo means Ttiseom in Chinese characters. Every year when the sea parts to reveal a path betwen Modo Island and Jindo Island, the Yeongdeungje ritual is held to wish for a good catch and blessings. It is also a local tradition for people from Jindo and Modo to meet on the sea path to catch clams, seaweed, and octopus. Deungseon Waterfall is located 80km north of Seoul and 10km southwest of Chucheon. It is situated inside of a 100m valley along the Gyeongchun National Highway, perfect for a shor trip or one-day tour course from Seoul, Gyeonggi, or Incheon areas.

The Jincheon Bell Museum (진천종박물관) was opened in September 2005 with the objective of promoting the unique artistic value of Korean bells. The museum’s Jincheon location itself is also very meaningful, as it is the oldest steel production site in Korea. In the nearby area, Uncheon-dong, Beomjong (a temple bell) of late Tongilsilla Kingdom (the United Silla Kingdom) was discovered along with the remains of the Ongdusaji Cheoldanggan of the Goryeo Dynasty. Since a bell museum focuses especially on the culture of temple bells, which are a culmination of metal craftwork, it seems inevitable that the museum is located in Jincheon where the biggest steel mill was located in ancient times. 

A pine tree forest grows on the 1.2 kilometer sandy stretch of Boseong’s Yulpo beach, which is widely known for its spectacular scenery. Here you can enjoy the pine tree forests and the clean oceans.Formerly a small fishing village, the region’s famous green tea and beautiful beaches has resulted in many tourists visiting Yulpo Beach. The area has become a family summer resort, fully equipped with accommodation and leisure facilities.

Eulji Observation Platform, located near the Military Demarcation Line, is now one of the most informative relics dating back to the Korean Conflict. From the Eulji Observation Platform, North Korea soldiers on guard are visible and on clear days so is Birobong Peak of Geumgangsan Mountain. Every year over one hundred thousand people visit this observation platform at the DMZ.

Sambong Beach is located to the south of the bridge that connects Nammyeong and Anmyeon-eup. The beach stretches 3 km long and has a x_width of 120m. The beach gently slopes down at a 2° angle and has an average water depth of 1.5m and temperature of 22°C. The beach is easily accessible to many visitors because of the convenient transportation during the summer. The three Sambong Rocks, the Haedanghwa flower (plena) and the rich pine forests are just a few of the beautiful and magnificent features of this beach. The name Sambong, is derived from the three rocks, however four rocks can be seen from the north facing southward while only three are visible from the south. The sand dune created by natural phenomena is a must see here.
