Mukho Station is located in Balhan-dong, Donghae-si and is close to Mukho Port (2.3km away) and Mangsang Beach (6.0km away). Hoetjip (raw fish restaurants) Town sits along the coastal road in Eodal-dong, Mukho Port and the 1.4km Mangsang Beach is popular for its spacious sandy beach, shallow water, and surrounding pine forests. Mukho Station began operation in 1961 and finished the construction of its current state on December 15, 1988.

Gyeongnam southern sea’s Namhae Pyeonbaek Recreational Forest (남해편백자연휴양림) consists of a verdant forest with cypress trees and provides beautiful views of the southern sea, making it an ideal place for relaxing. In addition, there are many historic sites such as Chungnyeolsa that symbolize the historic achievements of Admiral Lee Soon-shin.Within this recreation forest there are promenades, an observatory, and lodging facilities including Forest cabins, forest Lodge, training camping site, row houses, and camping decks. Opened on January 1, 1905, Jochiwon Station is a major hub for trains on the Gyeongbu Line. It also connects Cheongju to the other areas in Chungcheongnam-do. The station underwent expansion and a second story was built on built on May 19, 1999. The station plaza has a artworks on display and it also serves as a venue various cultural events. The station's location also made it an important transfer point for trains on the Chungbuk, Gyeongbu, Jeolla, and Honam Lines. With the continuous urban development in Sejong City and Osong City, the station is also expected to play a major role in transportation and commerce for the central region.  

Gochangeupseong Fortress is a natural fortress built by civilians in 1453. A government office building of the Joseon era was then rebuilt within the walls. Here, visitors can see an example of Korea’s traditional fortress architecture and take a stroll nearby amidst beautiful natural scenery.

Gyodongdo Island is located northwest of the larger Ganghwado Island, and was made more accessible with the opening of Gyodongdaegyo Bridge in July 2014. The name changed with different dynasties, being Gomokgeunhyeon during the Goguryeo Era and Gyodonghyeon by Silla King Gyeongdeok. The island served as an important stopover point for ambassadors and envoys heading to China. Popular attractions on the island now include Daeryong Market, an alleyway market decorated with colorful murals and statues, and Manghyangdae Memorial, a gathering place for refugees for fled from the nearby Hwanghaedo Island during the Korean War.

Joohyangro, literally meaning ‘a path of alcoholic flavor,’ is the name of the tour route around Kooksoondang Hoengseong Factory. The traditional liquor produced by the factory captures the clean air & water and the sincere devotion of its producers. The factory is located along the banks of the Jucheongang River. Legend has it that long ago as a Confucian scholar neared the river, he was surprised to see his empty glass suddenly brimming with clear, delicious alcohol.

The 4th Tunnel was discovered on March 3, 1990. It is located 1,200m from the Military Demarcation Line in the demilitarized zone of South Korea. This is the only tunnel to be discovered that provides full access to tour groups. Educational instruction is given in the square outside the tunnel.

The arts center opened its doors to the public on November 6th, 2010 after two years and four months of construction, which started on April 14th, 2008. Standing on a lot measuring 27,925㎡, the five-storey building has two basement floors (equivalent to a 13-story apartment in x_height), is 21,232㎡ in area, and is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities (such as a revolving stage). Major facilities include a grand performance hall, small performance hall, exhibition chamber, outdoor performance stage, conference room, seminar room, and toy library where a wide range of educational and participatory programs are held.
