Jecheon Oriental Medicine Expo Park is an educational, cultural and recreational space that promotes hanbang (traditional Korean medicine). The Gyeongsangbuk-do Arboretum was founded in September 17, 2001. The arboretum exhibits local plants from Ulleungdo, an island off Korea’s eastern coast that is home to a special ecosystem that includes rare trees and wildflowers. The arboretum has a total of 24 gardens, including the Alpine Botanical Garden, Ulleungdo Native Plant Garden and Needle-leaf Tree Garden.

The National Center for Korean Namdo Performing Arts is located at the skirt of Yeogwisan Mountain in Jindo-gun, Jeollanam-do. In addition to its gorgeous mountain and coastal views, the center is well known for its critical role in preserving spreading the traditional Korean music and art of the southern regions of Korea through traditional music performances, cultural experiences and traditional music study programs. At the center, visitors can sign up for traditional music lessons or tour the facilities. Key facilities include a traditional Korean music theater called Jinakdang, outdoor concert halls called Dalbitmadang (Moonlight Square) and Byeolbitmadang (Starlight Square), a lodging facility named Sarangchae (with space for 160 people), and the Samuyeonseup Building, which includes practice rooms, seminar rooms, and a cafeteria. Various culture experience programs and traditional music programs are available, such as the “Friday Traditional Korean Music Performance” and the “Weekend Culture Experience,” in which families can come and experience the traditional culture of Namdo (southern Korea). Busan Port Passenger Terminal provide a resting and waterfront area for passengers connecting Busan and Jeju island. Circular buses are on operation from Busan Station to Busan Port Passenger Terminal. The terminal is convenient for transportationis, being close to Jungang and Nampo Station of Busan Subway.  

Tamjingang River, 56km long in total, is one of the major three rivers (Yeongsangang, Seomjingang and Tamjingang) of Jeollanam-do Province area that crosses through the center of Jangheung-eup, passing Busan-myeon. It was formerly known as Yeyanggang River, but then later named Tamjingang after residents of Tamrado Island (now Jejudo Island) sailed down the river for the first time. At each river bend is a time-honored pavilion for taking a quality rest and enjoying the gentle breeze from the river. There are a dozen in total. The scenic beauty of the crystal clear water of the river stands complements the lush forest rocky areas of the mountains nearby.

First opened in June 2004, Yanggu Eco-Botanical Garden was built on a total area of 189,141㎡. 3.1 billion Korean won (approximately 3 million USD) was spent on the construction and it was built to be developed into a South and North Korean ecosystem restoration center. Located in the northernmost region of South Korea, it houses more than 400 rare plants including plants that are Korean native species and protected by Korean Ministry of Environment. The garden is divided into six parts by their features including Botanical garden, Natural forest, and facilities zone. In the Botanical garden, rare plants such as northern native plants and alpine plants that are naturally grown in the demilitarized zone (DMZ) and Yanggu area are displayed in one place. There are also walking trails, a medicinal plants exhibition hall, a plant nursery, and a greenhouse. Jeju Aerospace Museum is an advanced aerospace museum which combines education and entertainment with aerospace, a future industry. Various aircrafts that embody the history of world aerospace as well as those that hold traces of Korea's air force are exhibited midair. Visitors can learn about astronomy from the ancient times to future space exploration. Also, the museum shows the 13.7 billion-year old history of the entire universe including the solar system, galaxy and large black holes. with their structures and how they were created. Visitors can touch meteorites from outer space, as well as sit in the pilot seat of an airplane and explore the future universe with advanced multimedia. The museum helps visitors gain knowledge about science technologies related to aerospace with ease through various fun activities.

Cheonjedan are altars set up by people a long time ago to offer goods to Heaven. In old records such as the Samguksagi (History of the Three Kingdoms), there are records that "The Silla Kingdom organized rituals in Taebaeksan Mountain, which it considered as a Bugak Mountain (Northern Mountain, one of the mountains for rituals)." This shows that Taebaeksan Mountain was considered to be a holy mountain in the past. Cheonjedan, or the altar, is situated at the summit of Taebaeksan Mountain. With Cheonwangdan altar in the center, there is the Janggundan Altar in the north and a smaller altar in the south. The altars are built by stacking stones, a sign of a sacred ground. The Cheonwangdan altar is made of natural stone. It has an oval shape and measures 27.5 meters in circumference, 3 meters tall, 7.76 meters wide, and 8.26 meters from front to back. The natural stone is a sort of gneiss, with the upper stone being round and the bottom stone rectangular. Such a form is based on the philosophy of Cheonwon Jibang. In the valleys nearby, there are small or large stacked stone pagodas and stone platforms, which were used for prayers. It is forbidden to kill wild animals or break off tree branches in the area.

Located at the beginning of Seomjingang River, the steep banks in Gudam Village are covered in maehwa (plum blossoms) in white and red. While strolling along the 3m-path of the riverside, connecting Gudam Village to Cheondam Village, tourists will be impressed by the beautiful scene created by maehwa (plum blossoms) and cherry blossoms. The village became more and more famous thanks to its cozy ambience comprised of Seomjingang River, plum blossoms and Zelkova in the mouth of the village, attracting visitors to enjoy a walking trip. The village has also served as a filming location for movies, including the movie Spring in My Hometown, released in 1998.
