Tezroc Cruise is a cruise package that offers various routes to attractions in Busan such as Oryukdo (Island), Taejongdae, and Busan Port. Called Nurimaru, the cruise was made as the Holland-style cruise during the 19th century. The name, Nurimaru refers to the "Top of the World." Consisting of three decks, the cruise offers party rooms, karaoke rooms, restaurants, open-deck benches, an outdoor performance stage and audience seats. Tezroc Cruise departs at Coastal Ferry Terminal near Jungang-dong Station. Check information on routes and departure schedules at least a week before intended visit.

Dongnae Hot Spring Zone

Dongnae Hot Spring in Busan dates back to Korea’s three kingdom period. Records show that King Sukjong (1661-1720), the 19th king of the Chosun Dynasty, visited during the 17th year of his reign.The hot spring offers alkaline/saline water with a high concentration of chlorine ions and magnesium. The facility can accommodate up to 3,000 visitors with over 40 baths of varying styles. For instance, there are baths for nerve pain or stomach disorders while others are filled with herbal remedies and operate seasonally. Located in downtown Busan, Dongnae Hot Spring will be even easier to access with the planned subway station. The hot spring has been frequented for many decades and has well-developed lodging facilities in its vicinity. Visitors who enjoy hiking may want to consider a visit to Geumjeongsan Mountain and Geumgang Park on the same trip. 

Geomun Oreum [UNESCO World Heritage]

Geomum Oreum, with an altitude of 456m, is located in Jocheon-eup, Jeju-si and refers to a parasitic volcano (also called Oreum in Jeju dialect).Geomun Oreum was created by volcanic activities between 100,000 and 300,000 years ago. Lava flow from the crater went along the coastal slope to the Northeast and formed a unique geographical feature called Seonheulgot. The lave flow also formed Bengdwigul Cave on the left side, and Manjanggul, Gimnyeonggul, Yongcheondonggul and Dangcheomuldonggul Caves on the right side. Each of these caves has its own unique features.Upon entering Geomun Oreum, visitors are met by a dense forest filled with Japanese cedar trees. Further along, visitors will see a deciduous broad-leaved forest, shrubbery, and an evergreen broad-leaved forest. Not only featuring various types of forests, Geomun Oreum is also a breeding place for local birds such as Brown-Eared Bulbul, Korean Bush Warbler, Varied Tit, Streptopelia Orientalis, White-Backed Woodpecker and migratory birds such as Fairy Pitta and Tricolor Flycatcher.After it was designated as a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site, many visitors has come to enjoy the area's trekking course and the ecological exploring area.Excluding Tuesdays, the trails are open from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM in 30 minute intervals. Millak Waterfront Park

Located between Haeundae Beach and Gwangalli Beach, the Millak Waterfront Park is the first park in Korea to combine the oceanfront with public rest and leisure facilities. The park (about 33,000㎡) can accommodate up to 40,000 people and boasts convenience facilities such as gardens, shaded rest areas, and benches. The 3,040㎡ platform from which visitors can overlook the beach also serves as a place where people can dip their feet in the ocean when the tide is high.

MBC World Munhwa Broadcasting Corp. Theme Park

Major Korean broadcaster MBC will open the first hallyu theme park of the nation. The park is completed with hologram K-pop concerts, virtual reality drama sets and more. The theme park’s main attractions include experience zones where visitors can also experience being on stage with K-pop stars in holographic form and learn dance moves from them or become an main character in their favorite K-dramas.

Suwon Hwaseong Museum

The city of Suwon established the Suwon Hwaseong Museum to present the history and culture of the Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, an important Korean cultural asset and UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site.The museum has two permanent exhibition spaces: ‘The Exhibition Hall on Construction of Fortress’ (construction process of the Suwon Hwaseong Fortress and the development of the city) and ‘The Cultural Center’ (illustrates various historical events related to the fortress such events held during the 8-day visit of King Jeongjo in 1795).In addition, the museum runs a ‘Children’s Experience Center,’ where children can learn ancient measurement systems, try on royal court costumes, and more. The Suwon Hawseong Museum not only displays relics from Suwon Hwaseong Fortress (one of Korea’s most impressive historical heritages); it also gives visitors an opportunity to experience and explore.

Animation Museum & Toy Robot Studio (춘천 애니메이션박물관&토이로봇관)

Located at the Uiam lakeside, the Animation Museum, which is Korea’s only animation museum, has two floors. On the first floor there is the dimensional exhibition hall introducing the origin, birth, and development of the animation, the kinds of animation, and the Korean animation history, as well as the reproductions of a large robot Taekwon V, and the old comic store. The second floor consists of the world hall displaying the animation trend for each country, diverse animation experience activities, and a special exhibition hall. Visitors can experience making sound effects for an animated film using various tools and dubbing a famous animated film such as Run Honey, and Cloud Bread. The Toy Robot Studio, located next to the Animation Museum, provides various experience programs related to robots. Its interesting robot programs are Spider Robot, Mission Robot, Robot Avatar, Robot Dance, Drone Experience, and so on. Both the Animation Museum and the Toy Robot Studio are equipped with convenient facilities for visitors with the background of Uiamho Lake, such as a cafe and souvenir shop, which sells animation characters and toys. The outdoor space also displays cute animation characters on the lawn where children can play freely.
