Yongyeon is where the saltwater and freshwater meet. The legend goes that an envoy was sent to the pond frequently by the Dragon King. The pond is flanked on both sides by eight rock walls that look like folding screens. Also called as Yongyeon Yabeom, the pond is one of the twelve best scenic sites in Yeongju. Yongyeon Yabeom refers to the beautiful sight that is created when the full moon is reflected on the clear waters of the rocky cliffs. Hence, many people come to visit the pond at night for the beautiful night scenery. 

About 200 tombs are located at Dongu Bullo dong hillock near Geumho River. Dongu Bullo-dong tombs have been appointed as a historical site numbers 262, which was formed during the period of Three States. It is also known for its mass burial site of all those who settled and controlled this region during ancient times.

Used during the 86 Asian Games and the 88 Seoul Olympics, Busan Yachting Center is an internationally acclaimed with more than 1,300 yachts and international facilities. Numerous yacht races are held here. It also has various facilities in commemoration of the Olympics, such as Sculpture Park, Recreation Park, Strolling Path and some cafeterias. In the vicinity are leisure water sport training schools such as a yacht school, wind surfing school, and scuba diving school. There is also a big yacht where you can enjoy the East Sea. The surrounding scenery is absolutely beautiful with the open ocean. This center also possesses squares and monuments. The walls have been torn dow completely in February 2002 to combine the harmony of the ocean and the forest and it is now open 24 hours free of charge for citizens. Thus, it has received many compliments as well as love from the people.Located in Haeundae, many other tourist sites are also available such as, Dalmaji Road, Haeundae Beach, Dongbaek Island, Sonjeong Beach and gwangalli Beach.

Yongpyong Resort, located on the ridge of Mt.Balwangsan, is the first domestic ski resort opening in 1975. With average 250cm of snow each year you can enjoy skiing from November until April of the following year. Compared to other ski resorts, ski season is considerably longer. It is 215km from Seoul, and with the construction of a 4-lane highway, the travel time has been shortened to 2 hours. When ski season finishes, you can enjoy golf from April to November as well.This is where the 1998 World Cup Ski Competition and the 1999 Gangwon Winter Asian Games were held. The Rainbow Red*Silver*Gold slopes have been authorized by the International Ski Federation (ISF). Also there are slopes for beginners such as the Yellow Run and the Pink Run, and the new Red Run and Green Run for intermediates. There are 18 slopes and 15 lifts in total, with a 3.7km long gondola which can accommodate 8 people at once. There are other convenient indoor facilities such as the swimming pool and sauna, and within the complex there is a sledding hill, indoor golf course with a capacity of 6 holes, survival game park and the indoor mountain bike path. There are also the forest bath walk, archery, crocket, tennis courts and the campsites.For accommodation there are hotels, condos, youth hostels which add up to 1,087 rooms available in total. There are many tourist sites such as the Mt.Odaesan National Park and the Daegwangryeong Ranch. During ski season, shuttle buses and the direct buses operate from metropolitan areas around Korea. 

King Sejong The Great Memorial Hall was established in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul, on November 1970 in memory of King Sejong and his saintly virtues and great achievements. Officially opened to the public in October 1973, the memorial hall is a modern structure housing an exhibition area, auditorium, laboratory, and a reference room. The exhibition area is further divided into the Hangeul Room, Science Room, Traditional Music Room, King Sejong Art Room, and an outdoor exhibition space.

From Eungbongsan Mountain (94m) one can easily see the Hangang River, Seoul Forest, Jamsil Sports Complex and more in the eastern part of Seoul. With such a great view of the Hangang River, the mountain are packed with visitors including many photographers. There is a sunrise event on the first day of the year and forsythia festival around April as the mountain is well-known for its forsythia.

The Children’s Museum is a hands-on experience museum run by the National Folk Museum of Korea. A variety of visual aids and assembly models allow children to touch and feel pieces and experience folk history in an interactive way. The theme of the exhibition consists of folk clothing, food, shelter, social life, and entertainment. The museum has a number of interactive spaces including a table set for an ancestral ritual, magnet miniatures depicting a baby’s first birthday, and an area where young visitors can build a folk house. Young learners can also create an avatar clad in Hanbok, make Kimchi using visual aids, or play Gonu (a traditional board game). The museum also collects, preserves, and maintains relics and historical items related to youth and youth culture.

Iho Beach is conveniently located close to downtown Jeju City. The sandy, gently-sloping beach and its mix of city amenities and natural beauty make it a popular destination for tourists during the summer.There are plenty of things for visitors to enjoy in the beach area. Visitors can rent boats to go fishing or fish off the seawall, an area known among the local fisherman for its abundance of sea smelts. For a little exercise, take a walk by the pine trees to explore the lighthouses made in the shape of horses—both cute and functional. Suseong Resort is located at the foot of the northwest side of Yongjibong Peak (629m) in Beommul-dong and offers outstanding scenery including gentle mountains along with Suseong Pond. The resort is centered around Suseong Pond, established in 1925 with 70,000 pondage in a circumfrence of 2,020m. The total area of the park is 218,000 ㎡. Suseong pond is an artificial pond created in 1925 during Japanese colonial era to supply water for agriculture to rural areas. These days, it is no longer used for agricultural purposes, but has turned into a resting area. Nearby the pond is Suseong Land which houses benches, trees, cruise boarding dock, biking, bumper car, merry-go round and other entertainment facilities. Also, visitors can enjoy a duck-boat, Dusan waterfalls and other exciting places perfect for excursion. Built in September 2007, the music fountain operates from May to October four times a day during the week.

Stretching from the (former) Jeollanam-do Provincial Government Office to the Geumnam-ro area, this famous plaza is where the landmark May 18th Democratic Uprising took place. In May 1980, the Jeollanam-do Provincial Government office building was the headquarters of the civil resistance movement and the scene of a number of rallies. The plaza has been officially known as the May 18 Democracy Square (5.18 민주광장, Minju Gwangjang) since 1996.
