Located within Jungmun Resort, Yeomiji Botanical Garden (여미지식물원) is the best botanical garden in Asia with a unique southern atmosphere. The indoor garden contains approximately 2,000 rare tropical and subtropical plants throughout the Flower Garden, Water Lily Garden, Jungle Garden, Subtropical Fruits Garden, Cactus and Succulent Garden, and Observation Platform. The outdoor garden offers Jeju Native Garden, as well as Korean, Japanese, Italian and French folk gardens. The tour train accommodating 60 persons travels between Indoor and Outdoor Garden. The Jungmun Tourist Complex, Cheonjeyeon Falls, as well as a clear view of Mt. Hallasan, and the nearby coast and Marado Island can all be observed from the thirty-eight meter high observation platform.

From the station, trains run to and from Yongsan Station (Seoul), Mokpo Station, Daejeon Station, and Suncheon Station.Gwangju is the only metropolitan city in the southwest region of Korea and is an important node in the nation’s transportation network. Mungyeongsaejae Open Set was created in 2000 for the filming of KBS drama "Taejo Wang Geon." The set became famous and was used for a variety of historical publications. In 2008, the Goryeo Dynasty set was dismantled and redesigned into a Joseon-era set. Visitors can get a glimpse of life in the past through the replica houses and various structures throughout the open set.

Located at the foot of Mt. Geumjeong (alt. 802 m), Geumgang Park stretches over a 3 million-square meter plot of land filled with lush forest and craggy cliffs and broken up by winding creeks. Regardless of the time of the year, a constant stream of people come to visit the many historical and cultural sites in the region, which once served as a base of operations for the government during the Joseon Dynasty.The area was referred to as Geumgangwon before becoming a park in June, 1973. On July 1st, 2004, the park once again made the news, as the entrance fee was abolished and the park was made free to the public.In addition to more typical sports facilities like badminton courts, the park also boasts carnival rides such as cable cars, bumper cars, and more. Visitors are also encouraged to stop by tourist sites such as the Busan Folk Tradition Arts Center, the Busan Marine Natural History Museum, and the Busan Botanical Garden.

Yeonan Pier is the starting point for all coastal passenger ships bound for the numerous islands in the western sea. The nearby Incheon Fish Market is always bustling with people who come to buy fresh fish and pickled fish at reasonable prices. Also located near the pier is the sliced raw fish market operated by the Marine Products Association. The southern quay is where the boats and ships leave for sea fishing. The Okgwangsan Jade mine (also known as 'Chuncheon Yeonok Gwangsan') in Geumokdong valley in Chuncheon-si, Gangwon-do, is the only jade mine in Korea and the only white jade mine in the world. Built in 1972, the original plan was solely for a jade mining facility. It now offers tours of the caves and even a steam sauna experience.On one side is a sauna room and on the left is a cave experience center. Along both sides of the cave are various jade formations leading to a long platform where visitors may stop for a break. At the end of the tunnel, visitors can sample Okjeongsu ground water gathered from inside the cave. The water’s unique taste brings people from all over who claim it is effective in treating hemorrhoids, constipation, and indigestion. A gift shop also offers a wide range of jade goods at discounted prices including rings, necklace, and even beds as well as a restaurant serving foods made with Okjeongsu water.

Opened in May 2007, Suseong Artpia is a major art center in Daegu. It has specialized, independent spaces for housing performances, exhibitions, and art camps. The art center’s facade was designed to resemble a crane flying away with its wings stretched out in order promote the image of Muhaksan Mountain (named as such because its shape is reminiscent of a flying crane or hak), the mountain on which the center is located. When viewed from the sides however, the center is shaped like a ship, as it was once the site of a large pond. With such an impressive exterior further highlighted by impressive lighting at night, water fountains, and landscaping, Suseong Artpia has become a rising attraction of Daegu. The center is equipped with a mega concert hall that can accommodate diverse genres of performing arts such as an opera, musical, ballet, theater, dance, music concert, and more.
