The Daegu Citizen Stadium was established on April 20, 1948. It features a main stadium, a baseball stadium, a ssireum (wrestling) stadium, an indoor ice rink, tennis courts, and many more. The baeball stadium, which was completed in February 1981, is also the home stadium of the professional baseball team, the Samsung Lions. Since its expansion in 1975, the Daegu Citizen Stadium has hosted several matches during the 1986 Asian Games and the 1988 Summer Olympics. The Stadium can accommodate up to 13,000 people.

This bustling port has become one of the most popular tourist spots for those in search of the freshest raw fish restaurants.At Daepohang Port it is said that the Seorak Mountains and the East Sea are gifts from nature. The port is filled with raw fish restaurants and a live fish market containing eel, flatfish, flounder, yellowtail, and plethora of other high-end seafood. Furthermore, the abundance of local dishes that can be found lining the streets includes ojingeo sundae and Gamja Songpyeon. For raw fish lovers that are in the Sokcho area, Daepohang Port is the place to be.Nearby tourist attractions include Seorak Sunrise Park and Tourism Submarine. Bosu-dong Book Street has a unique background. It was formed after the independence of Korea (August 15) as a residential area in the empty place where the previous Gukje Market was demolished. People started selling the books Japanese left behind, and later on, when it became a private area, book sellers moved to the current place to sell their books. When Busan became the provisional capital during the Korean War, refugees brought and sold their precious books for a living. As time went by, professors and students came to the alley and started purchasing books, contributing to the build up of the current book street. Once, used books were gathered in the alley and rare books could be found. Thanks to this, more temporary buildings were formed. At that time, about 70 books stores were available for students to sell and buy used books. In the early 60’s when the publication culture was not yet settled down, many students and educated people had to sell their books and then buy secondhand books or magazines. After going through this time, the Bosu-dong Book Street became a famous book street throughout the nation. The prices of books are scaled according to the conditions of the book or bargaining.

Yongpyong Resort, located on the ridge of Mt.Balwangsan, is the first domestic ski resort opening in 1975. With average 250cm of snow each year you can enjoy skiing from November until April of the following year. Compared to other ski resorts, ski season is considerably longer. It is 215km from Seoul, and with the construction of a 4-lane highway, the travel time has been shortened to 2 hours. When ski season finishes, you can enjoy golf from April to November as well.This is where the 1998 World Cup Ski Competition and the 1999 Gangwon Winter Asian Games were held. The Rainbow Red*Silver*Gold slopes have been authorized by the International Ski Federation (ISF). Also there are slopes for beginners such as the Yellow Run and the Pink Run, and the new Red Run and Green Run for intermediates. There are 18 slopes and 15 lifts in total, with a 3.7km long gondola which can accommodate 8 people at once. There are other convenient indoor facilities such as the swimming pool and sauna, and within the complex there is a sledding hill, indoor golf course with a capacity of 6 holes, survival game park and the indoor mountain bike path. There are also the forest bath walk, archery, crocket, tennis courts and the campsites.For accommodation there are hotels, condos, youth hostels which add up to 1,087 rooms available in total. There are many tourist sites such as the Mt.Odaesan National Park and the Daegwangryeong Ranch. During ski season, shuttle buses and the direct buses operate from metropolitan areas around Korea. 

The Hwaseong Train is a tourist train that travels between Mt. Paldalsan and Yeonmudae. The front of the train is shaped like a powerful dragon that signifies King Jeongjo, and the guest cars resemble palanquins that once carried the king during his excursions. The tour is short compared to the City Tour Bus.The train travels from Paldalsan Mountain to Yeonmudae (total 3.2km) for 30 minutes. It also provides in-train explanation in English, Chinese and Japanese.

Located in Jocheon-eup, Jeju-si, Jeju Stone Park was inspired by Jeju's history of myth, stone and spirit. The main theme consists of the legend about Seolmundae Halmang (Grandmother Seolmundae) who created Jeju Island and the stones of Obaek Janggun (the Five Hundreds Generals). The park provides a historical and cultural space where collected stones express Jeju's foundation and culture.Take a bus bound for Namjo-ro from Jeju International Airport or Seogwipo-si to reach the park (about 40 min). Other nearby attractions include the Jeju April 3rd Peace Park, Jeju Mini Land, and Jeju Jeolmul Recreational Forest.
