The bronze statue of the Soyanggang Maid, which was dedicated by the City of Chuncheon in 2005 to promote the beloved Korean song of "Soyanggang Cheonyeo" (Soyanggang Maid) and the Soyanggang River, is a large statue standing 7 meters tall. The modern statue strikes a balance with the Soyanggang River and its surrounding scenery. The statue is located at the intersection of Soyanghoban in the direction of Gongjicheon. 

Opened on October 14, 2005, Seongnam Art Center is operated by Seongnam Cultural Foundation. The art center is famous around the nation for its superior facilities and its scale. The center also makes an effort to raise their competitiveness by hosting exclusive performances and making their own productions.

This is an observatory located along sanbok-ro road in Choryang-dong, Dong-gu, Busan. A mail box was installed to celebrate the arts and literature of famous poet Yu Chi-hwan. The observatory is divided into two levels. The first level consists of a terraced outdoor performance stage, while the second level is the arts exhibition area, covered in a full glass design.

Gonpo Cruise Boat takes you around the picturesque area of Taejongdae and Achi Island. Achi Island is well known for its abundance of Camellia trees and is sometimes referred to as Camellia Island. The Korea National Maritime University was established here in 1974. This 40-minute cruise guarantees magnificent views for all.

Originally, it was an island, but now having installed the bulwarks of Yeosu Port all the way to Odongdo Island (오동도), visitors can simply walk along the breakwater. There are 70 species of wild flowers that flourish here, a hill commemorating the plantation of the very first tree and a spacious grassy field making this place great for ecological education.The Odongdo Island of Yeosu is one of the most spectacular spots to appreciate camelias. The camelias on Odongdo Island begin to bloom in November and color the entire island in scarlet until April the following year. Indeed, during this period the entire island looks like a huge camelia blossom. The promenade that stretches across the entire island is popular with couples. You can have fresh catches from the sea prepared for your meal.

Mugaksa Temple, originally located in Yeouisan mountain, was a place where soldiers from Sangmu Military School went for peace and harmony. When Sangmu Military School relocated and part of Yeouisan Mountain became a 5.18 Memorial Park, the temple's location became part of the Park. Mugaksa Temple's location within the downtown area of Sangmu new town, Gwangju's biggest financial and administration district, puts it at a similar level as Bongeunsa Temple in Seoul as an urban Buddhism Temple. There are book café, lotus gallery, and traditional tea house "Sarangche" within the temple, breaking down the image of religion and adding more culture and arts to a place where citizens can go to meet and relax. "Treasure Island" Flee Market opens every Saturday, evolving it from European style to more Korean style market. The temple continues to receive interest as a tourist attraction and an educational place for students.

During the Gihae Persecution of 1839, three French Catholic priests were sentenced to death for spreading Catholicism in Korea. Saint Laurent Joseph Marius Imbert (Bishop), Saint Pierre Philibert Maubant (Priest), and Saint Jacques Honore Chastan (Priest) were beheaded on September 21, 1839 at Saenamteo (currently Saenamteo Catholic Holy Place of the Martyrs) and their bodies were buried at Samseongsan Mountain and later transferred to the grotto of Myeondong Cathedral.

Built on the peak of Mt. Bongnaesan (799.8 meters) in Yeongwol, Byeolmaro is Korea’s largest astronomical observatory. The term ‘Byeolmaro’ combines the words ‘byeol’ (star), ‘ma’ (peak) and ‘ro’ (peaceful). Together, they collectively represent the wish to view stars in a clean and peaceful environment.The observatory has a total of 11 telescopes, including the nation’s largest telescope with a diameter of 80 centimeters and 10 supplementary telescopes. Inside the building, there is an astronomy gallery, audio & visual material room, and both main and auxiliary observation rooms. Located in a mountainous region in the inland of Gangwon-do, Yeongwol has a clean natural environment free from pollution. Jeju Racecourse is situated at the base of Mt. Hallasan, 450 m above sea level, with a great view of Baekrokdam and the ocean. It was first set up to protect the Jeju Horse (Natural Monument #347) in 1990. It is open around the year to provide space for excursions, picnic parties and exercises.Its main facilities are the racetrack made of sand which is 1,600m in length and 20m in x_width, examination hall where you can see the conditions of the horses before the race, spectators’ floors from 3rd basement floor to the ground floor, holding 3000 persons per floor, 100 monitors, 100 ticket desks, information desks and a free parking lot which can hold 2000 cars.From July to August, races are held between 4:25 PM~9:20 PM. In the vicinity is the Eoksae Flower Garden which is so beautiful that it is the subject of the “Jeju Eoksae Flower Festival”
