Munui Cultural Properties Site offers overlooks of Daecheongho Lake. Attracting many visitors, the place was created to preserve and promote the local traditional culture of Cheongwon (Chungcheongbuk-do); it is a great place to learn about local history, culture, and arts.The spacious complex (132,232m2) is home to ten traditional houses (Munsangwan, houses by aristocrats, a museum, and a tavern), showing a form of a traditional village. It is also full of dolmens, stones (symbolizing abundant procreation), Jangseung (totem poles at the entrance of villages or temples), and Yeonjabanga (millstones worked by horses or oxen), providing visitors with opportunities to learn about traditional culture and life.With the theme of roof tiles, a relics gallery in the complex boasts over 774 local items, categorized in each historical period (e.g. the Silla Period, Baekje Period, etc.). Munsan-ri Stone Bridge, believed to have been built during the Goryeo Period, was restored in front of the gallery.The complex also offers a wide array of amenities including mineral spring sites, playgrounds, and Munui Movie Village (a drive-in movie theater in the parking lot). Nearby notable attractions include Artificial Falls, Yangseongsan Mountain, Jakdusan Mountain, Daecheongho Lake, Nosan Pine Forest, Donghwasa Temple, and Bugang Mineral Springs. 

Gongseri Catholic Church is the main Catholic parish, which was built in 1894 on the hill of Gongseri, Inju-myeon that connects Asanman Bay to Sapgyocheon. Early missionaries landed here to begin their work. A common house was used as a church in the early years however, in 1897 a rectory was built and in 1922, the main church was created. This was the first church in Chungcheongnam-do and it was divided in different locations such as Gongju, Anseong, Onyang and Dunpo. The grounds have three graveyards of prosecuted martyrs, 4626 sq.ft. area parish and rectory, retreat house, meeting room as well as beautiful view of the green including an old zelkova tree.

Heongseong Hot Springs opened in March 2002, and is a bicarbonate alkaline hot springs located at the foot of the Adapsan Mountain. Hoengseong Hot Springs Silk Road boasts picturesque rock outcroppings and an open-air hot springs that has an expansive view of the Thousand Years Wood of Adapsan Mountain. Upo Wetland Cyber Ecological Park collects data and conducts research on various wild wetland animals (birds, fish, mammals, amphibians, and reptiles), and displays these to the public. The Cyber Ecological Park promotes the message that humans are also part of nature and educates visitors on how we can live in harmony with nature. To help visitors learn more about the ecological environment, the Cyber Ecological Park consists of various galleries: Understanding Uponeup, the Four Seasons of Uponeup, Living Uponeup, Families of Uponeup, and Understanding the Ecological Environment. Each gallery exhibits dynamic models and videos, as well as hands-on interactive programs. The Cyber Ecological Park is a place of education for young people, a place of culture for everyone, and a place of relaxation for families. Visitors are encouraged to experience and learn more about the environment of the wetlands. After viewing all the exhibits, you can take a leisurely stroll around Uponeup Wetland.  

Ganworam is a small hermitage located in Ganwoldo-ri, Buseok-myeon, Soesan-si, Chungcheongnam-do. Ganworam Hermitage was created by the Great Monk Muhak, the monk to King Taejo (Seong-Gye Lee) of the Joseon Dynasty. The name of the hermitage is directly tied with Muhak himself as it is said Muhak became enlightened while meditating under the moon (“wol” means moon in Korean) at the hermitage. At low tide, the Ganworam Hermitage is connected to shore via a natural walkway, but at high tide, the walkway is submerged and the hermitage becomes an island. At night time in particular the hermitage and its surrounding islets create a breathtaking view as the moonlit reflects off the sea.

The Songcheon-ri, Unsu-ri, Ipseok-ri, Susan-ri, and Bigeum-ri areas in Sudong-myeon, Namyangju City boast picturesque scenery with refreshing water flowing everywhere, for which the region is also widely known as “Mulgolan,” which means “inside water valley.” Opened in 1983, the park is surrounded by the mountains of Jugeumsan, Seorisan, and Chungnyeongsan. It is a great summer vacation spot with lush forests and clear valleys. The park is also abundant with many varieties of mountain vegetables and fruits including mushrooms, a type of mountain herb called deodeok, balloon flower roots, fatsia shoots, honey, chestnuts, and pine nuts.* Mongolian Cultural Arts Performance Group at Sudong National Tourist ParkMongolia Culture Town is a theme park that was established upon the signing of a friendship pact between the city of Namyangju and the Mongolian capital city of Ulaanbaatar. Opened in April 15, 2000, the 6,876 square-meter park consists of seven tent gers (traditional dwelling of the nomads in Mongolia), two carriage-style gers, and one exhibition hall. All of the materials used to construct the gers were directly shipped from Mongolia. The largest ger at the center of the park has an estimated 150 items from Mongolia on display including traditional clothes, horse saddles, accessories, household goods, and musical instruments.

Ganhyeon Resort is located where Seomgang River and Samsancheon River meet. The resort offers an amazing view, with the riverfront surrounded by white sand, oddly shaped rocks and lush forests with a 40 to 50-m high wall of rock formations along both sides of the river. The natural beauty of the area was also praised in the lyrical prose "Gwandong Byeolgok" by Songang Jeongcheol.

Located in the eastern section of Wibongsanseong Fortress, Wibong Waterfall is a two-tiered waterfall measuring 60 meters high. The strangely-shaped rocks and thick groves of trees that border the cascading falls make for such a magical scene that it comes as no surprise that the waterfall has long since been counted as one of the Eight Splendid Landscapes of Wansan.Located nearby is the battlefield of the Ungchi War (designated as regional monument of Jeollabuk-do, No. 25) where the local people fought fiercely against Japanese invaders during the Imjin War. Also in the area are Songgwangsa Temple (at the foot of Jongnamsan Mountain), Dongsang Reservoir, Daea Reservoir, and Hwasim Hot Springs.
