Nestled in the East coast of Dolsando Island (돌산도), the tranquil waters on this resort have mild waves that lap up on the shiny golden sand along the beach. Wonju Airport is located in Hoengseong-eup of Gangwon-do. It began as a military airfield in 1975. In January 1993, in an effort to promote the opening of the Civil Aviation, official construction began in November 1995. In February of 1997, it opened its door with Korean Air Co. Ltd. flying in and out of the city. The maximum number of aircraft movements that the airport can accommodate per year is about 115,000, numbering more than 450,000 passengers. The hangar can fit one B737 aircraft. There are about 90 parking spaces available in the parking lot. ​

Sejoong Museum consists of 14 exhibition chambers (1 indoor and 13 outdoor exhibition venues) and over 10,000 stone sculptures excavated from across the nation.Main types of statues include: stone Mun/Muin Seok (generals/scholars) that guard the spirits of the deceased at the graveyard; the comical Seoksu, which protect the King’s tomb; Jangseung & Beoksu, guardian spirits that prevent evil spirits and enemies from invading the village; Sotdae that are tall enough to look out for the safety of a village; Mangbuseok (faithful wife stone), a legendary faithful wife who became a stone after waiting and waiting for her never-returning husband; Dongjaseok, a cute child monk that grabs the eyes of passersby; Dol Hareubang, a symbolic stone sculpture of Jeju Island; and Hyojaseok, which commemorates a filial son.Other pieces include Buddhist relics such as stone pagodas and lamps, a horse-pulled millstone, well stones, stone pots, and other daily items used by Koreans from ancient times.

Each Sinnobong Peak and Gungmangbong Peak is located at Eastside and Westside of Gungmangbong Recreational Forest. Within the recreation forest there are around 170 kinds of plants including nut pine trees, pine trees, and others. Yeosu Airport is the gateway to Yeosu city and the eastern part of Jeollanam-do Province. The airport opened in 1972 when Korean Air (KAL) launched a new air route between Seoul and Yeosu, and the route between Yeosu and Jeju was added in 1977. The travel time for the Seoul-Yeosu route is 1 hour and the Jeju-Yeosu route takes 45 minutes. The airport renovated its runway in 2004 and opened a new passenger building in 2005. As Yeosu is the host city of the 2012 World Expo, the city has plans to continue expanding facilities to provide the most convenient service.  

‘Dongheon’ refers to the administrative building or headquarters for the top city official of the Joseon Dynasty. This tile-roofed house measures six Kans* (14.4 meters) on the front, two Kans (or 4.8 meters) on the side and is 3.3 meters in x_height. Records carved on its gate show that the wooden house was constructed in 1407. The house, which is characteristic of late Joseon Dynasty architecture, was once used as Daeheung-myeon Office, but was dismantled and restored to its original appearance in 1979.*Kan: ancient building area measurement unit corresponding to the space between two columns

Maegoe Museum is located on the grounds of Gamgok Maegoe Virgin Mary Catholic Cathedral and showcases the Catholic history of the area over a span of more than 100 years. The museum displays items important to the early Church in Korea, as well as items used by the first priest. The museum serves as a complete education center for visitors to Gamgok Maegoe Virgin Mary Catholic Cathedral.
