Opened March 25, 2005, the Chungmu Art Hall, operated by the Jung-gu Cultural Foundation, is located near Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station (Seoul Subway Line 2, 4 or 5). The art hall has a grand theater (1,255 seats), a mid-sized theater (327 seats), a small theater (230 seats), the Chungmu Gallery (203㎡), and a convention center (310㎡). The Jung-gu Cultural Foundation made an effort to make Jung-gu a creative venue for culture and art. Visitors of all ages can enjoy and participate in cultural experiences through artistic shows at the hall.<

Dong-Incheon Samchi Street is the alley at the side of Incheon Educational and Cultural Center for Students in front of Dongincheon Station. The history of the mackerel street dates back to about 40 years ago when the first grilled mackerel shop, House of Inha, opened in this alley. In 2002, it was designated as the grilled mackerel street and a signboard was put up at the street entrance. Currently, there are about a dozen grilled mackerel restaurants lining the street, and each restaurant has a unique signboard of its own. The mackerels are imported from New Zealand, and each restaurant offers a distinct taste resulting from different grilling methods and sauces. The restaurants also sell a variety of appetizers and side dishes at affordable prices.

Ttukseom Hangang Park was a famous resort site even before its rebirth as part of the greater Hangang Park. The park consists of various amenities: music fountains, a riverside square, a rose garden, playground, and a nature learning center.Overlooking Hangang River, the Riverside Square is the venue for a diversity of cultural events and performances. Gyeongnidan-gil road is about 1-km long, sprawling out into Sowol-gil road that starts from Namsan Mountain to the Armed Forces Financial Management Group. The Armed Forces Financial Management Group was used to be called the Armed forces Centeral Gyeongnidan, where the name of the road was orignated from.With N Seoul Tower on its northern side and bustling Itaewon area on its southern side, Gyeongnidan-gil road has now become a prime destination for all food lovers due to the vast selection of quality international cuisine and coffee available.

This early printing museum, located on the site of Heungdeoksa Temple in which Jikji, the world's oldest extant book, printed by movable metal type, was printed, was founded on March 17, 1992. Since the technology’s inception, Korea has substantially developed its metal-type printing methods. In this museum, approximately 650 artifacts including ancient movable metal and wooden print books from the Goryeo and Joseon periods, relics from the Heungdeoksaji Temple site (흥덕사지) and printing tools are on display. Here, visitors can learn about the history of the Korean printing technologies and culture.In addition to exhibition, the museum has been promoted to hold the Cheongju International Printing & Publishing Fair, to study early printing culture and printing types and to publish museum journals and early printing-related papers.

Located in Pojeong-dong, Jung-gu, Daegu, the Daegu Modern History Museum was officially opened on January 24, 2011. The museum is housed in a building that is rich in history. First built by Japan in 1932 as a bank, the building was once a symbol of repression and exploitation during the Japanese colonial rule. Today, the building stands proudly as an educational site and bears the title of ‘Cultural Property No. 49’ in recognition of its historical and cultural significance.The two-story museum (1,971 square meters) houses a permanent exhibition (1F), featured exhibition (2F), and a hands-on exhibition room and classroom for diverse cultural activities and lectures. The history exhibition features the lifestyle of Daegu citizens, local customs, and education of the late 19th century and the early 20th century.Opening hours are between 9:00am and 7:00pm; the museum is closed on Mondays.
