Wolmyeong Park is a popular tourist destination of Gunsan City and connects five mountains in the vicinity. The total size of the park is 2.6 km² and there is a 12km-long walking trail in the park. From the Susi Tower, which resembles a flame and or wind-blown sail, people can see all of Gunsan City, the sea to the south of Gunsan, the mouth of Geumgang River, and the giant Janghang smelting factory. At the foot of Seollimsan Mountain is an old temple named Eunjeoksa, and the Jeil Reservoir is located between Jeombangsan and Seollimsan Mountain. The park also contains an observatory, a sculpture park, and various monuments. The park has well-arranged gardens and 30-year old rattan and cherry trees. Every April, when the park is covered in cherry blossoms and is especially beautiful, a cherry blossom photo contest is held at the park.

Jinhae Station was completed on November 11, 1926, as a stop on the light rail train connecting Samnangjin and Masan. The initial purpose of building Jinhae Station was to transport military supplies. However, it has now changed character to become more of a tourist-friendly attraction, renowned for being one of the best spots to view the blooming of spring flowers. Every year in April and May, crowds gather near the station to enjoy Jinhae Gunhangje Festival and showers of beautiful flower petals. Designated as the top monument of Jeollanam-do, Sigyeongjeong Pavilion (식영정) literally means a place where even the shadow of the moon can find a place to rest. The pavilion has gained more fame from the legendary lyrics of Seongsanbyeolgok written by the poet Jeong Cheol. The elegant words of Kim Seongwon, a literary scholar, depict the scenic beauty of Seongsan Mountain during the changing seasons.Of all the pavilions situated at the basin of the Yeongsangang River the Sigyeongjeong is said to be blessed with a breathtaking view from the side. The current building was restored in the early 1900s. At the Sigyeongjeong pavilion you’ll find the Buyongdang, a monument with the lyrics to the Seongsanbyeolgok Poem, and next to it an old library building called jangseogak built to preserve the wooden blocks of Songgangjib, a book of poetry written by Jeong Cheol. 

Miryang Station opened on January 1, 1905 in conjunction with the opening of Gyeongbuseon Line, one of the oldest and the most important railway lines in Korea. The current station features element of hanok (traditional Korean house) architecture, with its traditional tiled roof constructed on Dec. 28, 1982 after the old building was destroyed by fire. Located by Sanseongsan Mountain and Yongdumok Recreational Forest, Miryang Station offers a fine view. The station has two floors above ground and one below and its traditional tiled roof style goes well with the image of Miryang, a city that values loyalty and filial piety. The open expanse of the station square provides a pleasant rest place to the citizens of Miryang, as well as travelers. Miryang Station is the only station in the Gyeongsangnam-do besides Busan Station that serves as a stop for KTX express trains. Baeksasil Valley in Seoul is a historic site (Baekseokdongcheon, Famous Site No. 36) that rests amid untouched natural surroundings. Seonyudong Gyegok Valley is located in Goesan-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do Province. Includes Seonyudongmun, the playground for the mountain gods, a total of nine valleys forms the area: Gyeongcheonbyeok, Haksoam , Yeondallo, Waryongpok, Nangadae, Gigugam, Guam, and Eunseonam.Seonnyudongmun Gyegok Valley is famous for the legend that mountain gods came to savor fresh mountain spring water. A renowned geographical account, Taekriji, published in 1751, stated that Seonyudong Gyegok Valley boasted some of the best scenery. One of the most eminent Confucian scholars of the Joseon Dynasty, Lee Hwang spent nine months in this beautiful valley. He gave names to all his favorite places, which still remain to this day. 

The breathtaking view of the South Coast can be seen at a glance from Sangjogam County Park. The glittery surface and towering cliffs create a spectacular backdrop. Clear footprints of dinosaurs that lived during the Cretaceous Period of the Mesozoic Era remain extending over the coast around Sangjogam, and thus the area was designated Goseong-gun Gosi No. 20. on November 10, 1983. The beach in front of the youth center contains shingles worn down by the tide and a precipitous wall of stratified rocks can be seen beyond the wide bedrock of dinosaur footprints. The rocks are named after the table leg-shaped stone caves such as “Ssangjok” or “Ssangbal”. Many oddly shaped rocks inside the caves have their own folktales. According to one tale, fairies from heaven came down to the Sangjokgul Cave to weave clothes out of brocade for the King of Heaven, and bathed in the Seonnyoetang. The shape of a loom and a puddle still exist. Nearby the cave, Chotdaebawi and Byeongpungbawi rocks create scenery beyond description and leisure cruise boats toss up gentle sea waves. Naturally, the park continuously attracts numerous tourists in all seasons. Also, many are drawn to the mysterious dinosaur footprint fossils at Sangjogam. The site is recognized as one of three major dinosaurs sites in the world, along with those in Brazil and Canada. The footprints belong to dinosaurs familiarized by the popular movie, ‘Jurassic Park’, such as Brontosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Allosaurus and Naranosaurus. It has been designated natural monument No. 411, as dinosaur footprints are valuable resources in discovering the uncovered mysteries of life before the appearance of mankind.
