Yuldong Park is a large urban neighborhood park located in the new section of Bundang in the city of Seongnam. Since its opening in September 1999, the park has become a favorite weekend hangout, frequented by residents of Seongnam and Seoul. This well-equipped park has a 45-meter bungee jumping site, a large fountain and a 33-acre reservoir encircled by a 2.5km promenade/bike path. Other facilities include a 13 meter-high artificial rock climbing wall, badminton center, children’s playground, foot acupressure path, grass plaza, year-round flower garden, field of reeds and theater. The park is also a popular date course for couples at nighttime as there are many quiet cafes located near the reservoir.

Located in Namseori Beach in the west of Ulleungdo, Saja Bawi Rock is famous for its spectacular sunset views. There is also a legend of General Yi Sa-bu of the Silla Kingdom (57 BC ~AD 935). Upon the order of the king of Silla, Yi set out on a military campaign to conquer Usanguk, the former name of Ulleungdo. The rough land and strong waves of Usanguk made it difficult for Yi to anchor his vessel. Showing the King of Usanguk the wooden lion sitting at the head of his vessel, Yi threatened to kill everyone on the island. Fearful of the lion, the king took off his war helmet and surrendered. Legend says that the wooden lion became Saja (Lion) Bawi Rock.

The name Nurimaru APEC House is created by combining the Korean words nuri (“world”) and maru (“summit”), and “APEC House,” which refers to an APEC conference hall. Collectively, it means “a house where the world summits gather together for an APEC meeting.” Located on Dongbaekseom Island, which is noted for its beautiful, natural landscape accented by dense camellia and pine trees, Nurimaru APEC House has been used as a memorial hall and a prestigious international conference hall since the APEC summit meeting. Nurimaru, a 3-story building, is a modernistic expression of “jeongja,” a pavilion in traditional Korean architectural style. Its roof shape symbolizes the ridgeline of Dongbaekseom Island. Janggyeongsa Temple was designated as Gyeonggi-do Cultural Property Material No. 15 in 1983. Originally 9 temples were located in Namhansanseong Fortress but only the four temples of Janggyeongsa Temple, Gaewonsa Temple, Gukcheongsa Temple remain today. Janggyeongsa Temple is situated 2km north from the East Gate of Namhansanseong Fortress. It has a tranquil ambience even though the temple is close to Seoul so visitors can feel the peaceful mood of a mountain temple. When construction began on Namhansanseong Fortress in 1624 (2nd year of King Injo's reign), the king made a Buddhist military group from the eight provinces to participate in fatigue duty in assisting to build temples in the 3rd year of the king. Including Mangwolsa Temple and Okjeongsa Temple, previously existing accommodations of Buddhist military, Gaewonsa Temple, Hanheungsa Temple, Gukcheongsa Temple, Cheonjusa Temple and other new temples were built in 1638 (King Injo, 16th year). Janggyeongsa Temple is the only remaining temple which was established at that time.

Oknyeobong Peak is one of the eight scenic views of Nonsan and offers a great overview of the Geumgang River as it flows through the Ganggyeong district. Continuing out into the distance, views of Nonsan and Iksan can be seen, bringing to mind a traditional painting of a mountain and river. The scenery is so beautiful that there is a myth of mountain gods coming down to play and bathe during the full moon. The signal-fire tower at the peak was built to receieve signals from the tower on Gwangduwonsan Mountain in Iksan, and passes the message along to Noseong signal-fire tower. The park is also in the area of the nation's earliest Baptist church, making it famous for people on a pilgrimage to sacred places.

Geumiseong is a mountain fortress built on the summit of Geumseongsan Mountain, which rises 430 meters above sea level. It overlooks Jeonui and Cheonan to the north and Geumgang River to the south. The architecture style of Geumiseong Fortress is a combination of the styles of the Baekje Dynasty and the early Unified Silla. Based on the relics found inside the fortress, it is thought to have been built in the Goryeo period. The robustness of the fortress takes advantage of the rugged topography, so much so that it had been known as ironclad bastion among common people. The eastern side of the fortress has considerably collapsed, but the southern part is in a relatively good condition. The western and northern walls are also in bad conditions. Some earthenware pieces were found where there once stood a watchtower. Also, some pieces of roof tiles were found where there was a fortress building in the central part of the fortress on mountain summit. The earthenware pieces are hard porcelain and soft glass wares like bowls and pots. The tile pieces mostly feature fishbone patterns in dark gray color.
