Samyang Beach is not well-known among tourists, enabling it to keep its clear waters compared to other beaches, as well as its sparkling black sand. As the black sand's therapeutic effect, especially on neuralgia and obesity, has become more known, visitors can often be seen lying down on the beach and burying themselves in the black sand.

Route 14 (19km) runs from Jeoji Community Center to the Biyangdo Island Hallimhang Harbor Ferry Dock. The trail passes through Sonang Forest, Mumyeongcheon Stream, a cactus habitat (seoninjang) in Wollyeong-ri, a Haenyeokong bean habitat, Ongpopogu Port, and Biyangdo Island. Hikers will pass through forest trails and rocky paths.

 

Geumseonsa Temple, which is located at the foot of Samgaksan (Bukhansan) Mountain, is within easy access from downtown Seoul. The temple is placed in a valley surrounded by beautiful mountain rocks and green pine forest. Geumseonsa Temple offers three types of temple stay: quality rest, Buddhist cultural experience, and temple life.  

Set 1400 years ago, the drama, ‘Seodongyo’, showcases the love between the king of the Baekje Dynasty and the princess of the Silla Kingdom. It was filmed in Chungnam Buyeo-gu at the Seodongyo Theme Park. The theme park offers a variety of highlights such as the royal residences of Baekje and Silla, the place where the nobles held their banquets, the commoners’ village, and the village of the nobles. Korea Expressway Corporation Arboretum (Jeonju Arboretum) is located in a relatively warm region of the country, reaching 20-30 meters in altitude. Operated by Korea Expressway Corporation, the garden is a nonprofit aboretum that is free and open to the public. The garden was built to restore the local environment that was damaged during the construction of an expressway in 1972, starting with nursery field. The builders then began collecting plants in 1983, and eventually opened the garden in 1992. The arboretum now sees an average of 200,000 visitors per year. The garden operates various hands-on programs and summer educational programs due to its diverse plant species.  

Gimhae Nakdonggang River rail bike runs for about 3km in distance and you may enjoy nakdonggang river's beautiful view while riding on the rail bike. Experience a unique atmosphere as you bypass the vintage railway bridge, and a wine cave can also be found in the vicinity.

Changwon Exhibition Convention Center (CECO) is a major venue for international and national meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions (MICE). Since its establishment in 2005 in the City of Changwon, home of high-tech industries and green environmentalism, the CECO has successfully hosted and continues to hold numerous events at its state-of-the-art facilities. In addition, the CECO features various facilities and services including a first-class hotel, a residential officetel, multiplex theaters, a food court, a shopping mall, and many more.

Jinjuseong Fortress, which is historically linked to the Japanese invasion in 1592, was originally named Geoyeolseong Fortress during the Three Kingdom Period, later renamed as Chokseokseong Fortress in the Goryeo Dynasty and finally settled as Jinjuseong Fortress in the Joseon Dynasty. The reinforced stonewall has a circumference of approximately 1,760m, 5m-8m in x_height and contains three wells and springs. According to Ha Ryun’s Seongmungi in Donggukyeojiseungnam Record, the castle had been frequently destroyed by the Japanese invasion and was later reinforced by Jinju’s minister, Kim Jung-gwang during the fifth year of Goryeo Woo King’s reign (1379). During this period, the circumference was 800 bo(pace), with Uijeongmun Gate to the east, Jijemun Gate to the north, and Yehwamun Gate to the south. Outside the castle, Cheongcheon River flows in the west and Namgang River in the south and a pond lies between the castle and the trench dug during the war times. As a fortress to safeguard from the Japanese attacks, it blocked the Japanese from advancing toward Honam during the 25th year of Joseon Seonjo King’s reign (1592). Within the temple lies Chokseoknu, Kim Shi-min Memorial, Uigisa Shrine, Seojangdae, Bukjangdae, Changyeolsa shrine, Jinju National Museum, Hoguksa Temple, and an outdoor stage. 

Bungeoseom is a small freshwater island located in Ha-ri, Hwacheon-eup, Hwacheon-gun, Gangwon-do Province. It was created as a result of the construction of the Chuncheon Dam. The island was turned into a green recreational site with environment-friendly facilities and is also used as a fishing ground and rest area for county residents. The Hwacheon County Office planted trees and made a bicycle road to make it more appealing to visitors. Every year, regional cultural festivals are held here like the Nangcheon Ice Festival in mid January, the Bimok Cultural Festival in June, and the Yonghwa Festival in October. Nearby, there are many tourist sites like the Chilseongnu Pavilion, Hwacheonhyanggyo Confucian School, Mireukbawi Rock, and Hwacheongang River.
