Pak Kyongni Literature Park is the place to explore the life and works of prominent novelist  Pak Kyongni (박경리). The park's theme was based on Pak Kyongni's well-known novel 'Toji' (토지, The Land). The site used to be her old house before it was converted into a park. Covering an area of 10,578.51㎡ (3,200 pyeong), the park kept the original garden and the house in its original state. There are three Toji-themed parks nearby: Hongidongsan, Pyeongsa-ri Madang, and Yongdurebeol.

Urban regeneration centered along Sanbokdo-ro road, this road was designated to be the province of renaissance. An archive center where stories of local residents in Sanbokdo-ro road can be found, and a new planned exhibition is held every two months. Personal collection, as well as the history of locals living in this district are well preserved, and such variety of cultural contents is served as a warehouse of resources for the future. * Opening Date: March 6, 2013

A small plaza projecting toward the south coast of Jeoryeongdo Island, 75 Square is one of the eight scenic sites of Yeongdo-gu in Busan. It was constructed in 1975 and became known as 75 Square from then on.  

The Korean Naval Academy Museum was opened on January 17, 1976, on the 30th anniversary of the Korean Naval Academy. When it first opened, the museum consisted of only a small exhibition room, but later saw the addition of a life-sized, ironclad Geobukseon (turtle ship) on January 31, 1980. On February 23, 1981, an independent museum building was opened at the site and on April 28, 1990, the museum was expanded to its current size.The museum (2,622 square meters in total area) is housed in two separate buildings (a two-storey building and a three-storey building) and boasts three exhibition halls (Yi Chungmugong Hall, Navy Hall, and Naval Academy Hall). The Yi Chungmugong Hall has on display 212 materials relating to the life of the famous Korean navel leader General Yi. At the Navy Hall, the history of Korea’s Navy is on display. The history of the naval academy itself is celebrated at the Navy Academy Hall through the presentation of 315 artifacts. In the outdoor exhibition area, visitors are met by a life-sized turtle ship, cannons, and old anchors from the Joseon Era, as well as an S2 anti-submarine plane and an amphibious armored car used during the Korean War.

Naro Space Center (나로우주센터) – Korea’s first – is a launching pad for various space projectiles, including the rocket-launching of satellites. A ceremony was held upon the completion of the Center on June 11, 2009, making Korea the 13th country in the world to have a space center. Naro Space Center mounts exhibitions and educates about space science technology. There is a Space Science Museum consisting of science exhibits, a 4D experience room (to be built) and an outdoor exhibition where students and children can learn about and experience space science technology.  

Daegu-si Dalseong-gun’s Biseulsan Recreational Forest (비슬산자연휴양림), famous for its beautiful natural scene, is located at the base of Biseulsan Mountain. The valley is replete with many notable rock formations, beautiful cliff walls and pure streams. It is also possible to see pink azaleas, which are especially beautiful during springtime. In addition, during winter there are ice caves, ice towers, snow sleds, icicle hills, and ice gardens for visitors. Within the natural recreation forest, there is a water playground and a promenade. Anmingogae Hill is a 9 kilometer-long hill that reaches from Taebaek-dong in Jinhae to Anmin-dong in Changwon. Six of the nine kilometers are lined with cherry blossoms, making up the famous Jinhae Cherry Blossom Tunnel. The hill is also known for its view of Jinhaeman Bay, Ungsan Mountain (alt. 703m), Sirubong Peak (alt. 630m) and Cheonjabong Peak (502m). The hill is dotted with benches placed about 100m apart, offering visitors a comfortable way to catch their breath while enjoying the view and cherry trees.Also of note is the Anmin Saengtaegyo Bridge (Anmin Ecology Bridge), which was built as a passageway for wild animals to travel between Jangboksan and Ungsan mountains after the mountains were divided by the Anmin Tourism Road running from Jinhae and Changwon. The hiking trail to Jangboksan Mountain past the Anmin Saengtaegyo Bridge is closed in the spring as part of fire prevention measures.

For over four decades since it was first developed to provide industrial water, the 1.2㎢ lake area has been isolated with high barbed wire fences set up for water quality control and safety reasons. As time went by, the area has fallen behind in comparison with other regions and gradually became a deserted area. But now, after the wired fence has been removed, various facilities and walking paths were created to compliment the breathtaking scenery and the surroundings.
