Hantaek Botanical Garden, located in Oksan-ri, Baekam-myeon, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do, is divided into an East Garden and West Garden. The East Garden is comprised of 25 uniquely-themed gardens that together measure 70,000 pyeong (about 231,420 square meters). The West Garden is a natural habitat for research and conservation purposes and is not open to the public.Hantaek Botanical Garden holds a wide range of festivals, events, educational training programs and other activities while nurturing 9,000 different species of flowers in a clean, natural environment. Inside the garden are Korean restaurants, a souvenir shop, and a plant shop.

Sejong Lake Park is a large scale man-made park and is one of the major tourism destinations in Sejong-si. The park has a walking path, an island, a stage on the water, and other facilities. In particular, Sehogyo Bridge and a stage on the water are the most well-known. On weekends, the area is packed with visitors in order to relax and enjoy performances, festivals and cultural events. The National Library of Korea, Sejong and Bangchukcheon Stream, with its musical fountain, are also nearby.

Born in Ulsan, Oesol Choe Hyunbae led the 'Hangeul Matchumbeop Tongiran' (the Proposal for Unified Hangeul Orthography) and published many books in order to creatively promulgate Hangeul. Those activities contributed to the establishment of the Hangeul culture and the systematic approach to hangeul.

Samcheok Ocean Rail Bike is Korea's one and only ocean rail bike facility that offers a landscape view of black pines and bizarre rocks merged together. Its double-tracked route of 5.4km follows the beautiful shoreline of the East Sea with a tunnel along its way that entertains bikers with fascinating luminarie and laser shows, giving feelings as if it is passing through a mysterious underwater tunnel. Within winter skiers’ Mecca, Gangwon-do Pyeongchang-gun Yongpyong Resort, summer targeted water park, Peak Island, is opening. As a center of family vacation spots, Peak Island is offering enjoyment throughout all four seasons. Yongpyong Resort, well known as a ski resort, focused in winter interior which reflects to be very unique western image. Peak Island is located at Korea’s highest above the sea level of 700m which consists of one basement floor and four ground floors. Over 3,500 people can facilitate together at once and basement floor is for golfers to enjoy spa after the golf games. Located in Wanju, Jeollabuk-do, Moaksan Provincial Park (모악산도립공원) lies south of Jeonju, an ancient city with thousands of years of history. With an elevation of 793.5 meters, Moaksan, or Mt. Moak, towers over the east of Geumman Pyeongya (delta) extending between the Mangyeonggang and Dongjingang rivers. It is situated in the central part of the Noryeong Mountains. Designated as a provincial park in 1972, the park is home to Geumsansa, a temple that has within its walls national treasures and many regional cultural properties. Its scenic views transform with the turn of the seasons. Because of the mountain’s proximity and easy-access, many climbers and hikers visit all the year round.

Sinbuk Hot Springs opened it in April 1994 amidst beautiful streams and forests. The hot spring water comes from 600m underground includes sodium bicarbonate help creating a soft and smooth texture and the water helps anti-aging and general skin care. Along with a hot springs bath, saunas were built as well as a resting area that attracts a diverse clientele. In the area around the hot springs are tourism spots like Yeoldugaeul Valley in Deokdun-ri and Samjeong-ri Mineral Spring. Trekking is also available on the walking trail at Wangbangsan Mountain, Soyosan Mountain and the hot springs as there is a trail connecting Sinbuk Hot Springs and the middle of the mountain.

Daegu Art Museum is a municipal museum supported by the Daegu Municipal Government. The museum holds exhibitions to promote Daegu's art advancement through the study of the art's historical value.
