Muan Tidal Wetland Research
 
Jeollanam-do(Muan-gun) ,
Muan Tidal Wetland Research in Muan, Jeollanam-do was established in an effort to raise awareness of the ecology and importance of natural wetlands. It is the nation’s largest educational center for natural ecology. The center consists of a three-story indoor exhibition hall as well as a wetland ecology park spanning 48,100㎡. Inside the exhibition hall is a multi-purpose theater that plays 3D educational videos. A tour of diverse facilities including the wetland eco-center and the tidal wetland exploration center is also available inside the hall. Outside the exhibition hall is a wetland ecology park and experience zone, where visitors may observe various ocean creatures and salt water plants.

Myeongji Valley
 
Gyeonggi-do(Gapyeong-gun)
Myeongi Valley stretches eastward from the summit of Myeongjisan Mountatin, which is the second highest mountain in Gyeonggi-do. The valley is only about 10 m high, but it has stunning scenery with plenty of water powerfully cascading down over the rocks. Stretching along a picturesque hiking trail, Myeongji Valley is considered one of the most beautiful valleys in Gapyeong County.

Uijeongbu Station

Uijeongbu Station on the Gyeongwon Line is located between Ganeung Station and Hoeryong Station. It used to be the last station of the suburb train but it became an ordinary subway station after a metropolitan subway started operating to Soyosan Station.

Pocheon Valley
 
Gyeongsangbuk-do(Seongju-gun) ,
Pocheon Valley, located in Gacheon-myeon, Seongju-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do, is approximately 7 km long. This place used to be a learning place for scholars of Seongju in the old days. Eungwa Lee Wonjo, who was the civil minister during the late Joseon period and a great scholar of those days, used to live at the upper stream in Mangwijong Pavilion (만귀정). Mangwijong gives the valley a more outstanding atmosphere. Pocheon Valley is well-known for its crystal-clear waters flowing through the woods.

Namnong Memorial Hall (남농기념관)

Namnong Memorial Hall is an art gallery dedicated to the works and memory of Namnong Heo Gun, a famous artist of the traditional Southern School of Painting. The hall was opened as an art gallery by Namnong Heo Gun (1908-1987) himself in 1985. The Southern School of Painting features natural scenes with accompanying calligraphy. The hall now features over 200 works of art by some of the most famous Korean paintings in history, as well as pottery from China and Japan.

Wido Beach

Opened in 1969, Wido Beach is known as an excellent swimming beach. It is sheltered by the surrounding mountains and the water is clear and fairly shallow. This makes it very popular among families seeking a relaxing vacation.

Shin-myung Jeong-ja Beach

For those hoping for a view of the winter sea, or those longing for the engulfing embrace of the clear dark-blue waves crashing into huge rocks, this is the place to be. When one thinks about Shin-myung Jeong-ja Beach, most people are reminded of Sokcho, Gangneung, Donghae and Samcheok in Gangwon-do. Nevertheless, many tourists seek the east coast that spreads from Jujeon in Uljin to Gampo. The costal road, with its beautiful scenery of sea and mountains, is a popular driving route. With diverse attractions nearby, many vacationers are attracted to this beach during the winter.

Gwangjuho Lake Eco Park (광주호 호수생태원)

Gwangju Riverside Eco Park (185,124m²) is divided into themed districts and features a natural observation center, an eco-experience center, and more. In the flower district, visitors can see more than 170,000 kinds of wild flowers including azaleas, forsythia, smile rosebay, roses, royal azaleas and hydrangeas. Visitors may also enjoy the picturesque view of over 3000 kinds of trees including snowbells, quince, Chinese parasol trees, Japanese maples, and Metasequoia trees. At the wetlands district, you may actually see how birds hatch and grow! Since the Eco Park is only 30 minutes away from downtown Gwangju, it is a popular place for citizens during the warmer months. Some of the popular places in the park are the Buyeop Botanical Garden, Waterfront Observatory Deck, and rock garden.

Jeongseon Arirang Training Hall
 
Gangwon-do(Jeongseon-gun) ,
Located in Yeoryang-ri, Buk-myeon, Jeongseon-eup, Jeongseon-gun, Gangwon-do, Jeongseon Arirang Training Hall was established to preserve and promote the Jeongseon Arirang (Gangwon-do’s Intangible Culture Asset No. 1). The first floor of the Training Center Hall holds Jeongseon Arirang Material Room and a training center of Chang, Korea's traditional narrative singing method. On the second floor, Jeongseon Arirang Performance Hall, Training Hall, and video facilities are available. Also, Living Hall Building has a restaurant that can accommodate up to 50 people on the first floor and 5 guest rooms as accommodation facilities that can accommodate up to 6-7 people each on the second floor.
