Pungdong Anygol
 
Gyeonggi-do(Goyang-si) ,
Pungdong Anygol (formerly known as ‘Aehyeongol’ and ‘Aeingol’) is a ‘food street,’ where many restaurants are located close to one another. Anygol originally started near Baekma Station (Gyeongui Subway Line), where eccentric cafés playing folk music were once popular dating spots among young people in the 1970’s and 80’s. When Anygol near Baekma Station disappeared in the early 1990’s, cafés and restaurants started sprouting around Pung-dong, Goyang-si, which is known for its art and cultural spaces as well as beautiful lakes. Today, there are over 80 restaurants and cafés that host folk music performances as late as 3 a.m. on Pungdong Anygol.

Simni

Simni (10-ri) Cherry Blossom Road in Hwagae is famous for its beautiful views in spring. It is believed that if a young couple walks down this road holding hands, they will be together for one hundred years. For this reason, the road is sometimes referred to as the “wedding road.”

Yulpo Beach

Yulpo Beach blends the beauty of a pine tree forest and silver sands on this 1.2 kilometer-long beach. The air is scented with the ocean breezes, pine trees and the hint of fresh green tea. Although being a small fishing village, the region’s famous green tea and beautiful beaches have resulted in many tourists visiting Yulpo Beach. The area has become a family summer resort, fully equipped with accommodation and leisure facilities.

Dosun Dawon Tea Plantation

Dosun Dawon Tea Plantation is Korea's first tea plantation to build and operate a modern tea-manufacturing factory. The plantation is an eco-tourism destination that aims to contribute in reducing carbon dioxide and improve the local economy through green tea production. Despite the large field that covers an area of approx. 264,400 ㎡, Dosun Dawon Tea Plantation is not very well known among tourists. However, the plantation is frequented by photographers who visit to take snapshots of the vast field against the backdrop of Hallasan Mountain or Jeju's beautiful ocean.
