Located in Pocheon, Gyeonggi-do and established in 1998, Herb Island focuses on growing Mediterranean herbs. The Herb Indoor Botanical Garden offers over 180 different herbs while the Outdoor Botanical Garden showcases a dazzling array of herbs surrounded by nature. Additional attractions include the Herb Museum, Living & Herb Exhibition Hall, Herb Restaurant, Herb Barbecue Restaurant, a café, a bakery, a gift shop, Aroma Therapy Center, Venetia Village, Herb Studio (do-it-yourself crafting), Mini Zoo, and an outdoor performance hall. Every facility and training program encourages visitors to actively participate, and so it enables a natural English learning experience in the context of daily life. In a setting resembling a village in an English-speaking country, participants experience various culture from around the world, increase their international social consciousness and realize the value of English as a means of communication. Coaching by kind, native English-speaking teachers helps increase participants’ interest in English and boosts participants’ confidence in speaking to foreigners. Upon completing the camp, students will be more motivated to study English with greater interest and enthusiasm.All facilities have been newly built to simulate a village in an English-speaking country. Students can learn English by enjoying a cultural experience in an exotic environment. Paju Camp is a model English village created by Gyeonggi Province. The more than 700 trainees and teachers residing in the village, and the hands-on training programs and facilities merge naturally in daily life through the 3Es (Education, Experience and Entertainment).Though it is located near urban areas for easy access, it is a suburban English village in harmony with its surrounding natural environment. Through diverse performances and events that occur all year round, the village is more than simply a place for hands-on English learning, it is an English cultural space.

The Herb Village in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi-do Province gives a splendid view of Imjingang River. This beautiful oasis is perfect for a relaxing day out of Seoul with the whole family. Colorful flowers, wooden benches, original statues, and a beautiful landscape decorate the whole space of the garden. One can just take a leisurely walk down the hill towards the river while stopping to smell the herbs every once in a while. If you need some refreshments, there are a couple of restaurants in the garden. If you want to stay overnight, there is beautiful guesthouse that offers comfortable accommodation. The village also has an herb jjimjilbang (Korean sauna) that creates a romantic ambience after sunset with candle lights, and foot baths that use different herbs can be found outside. The village is just a short drive from Seoul and one can enjoy a scenic view of the surroundings along the way.

O'ngo Food Communications was established in 2008 with the aim of providing a bridge linking Korean culture to the world through food. The name of the company literally means “Taking a lesson from the past.” It began its business as a consulting firm and now offers cooking classes and culinary tours for international tourists. The company's motto is "Cultural exchange through food."

Using a long abandoned railway, the Yangpyeong Rail Bike offers a unique bike ride at speeds of 15km/h from Yongmun to Wondeok. This 3.2km journey passes along a gleaming river and tree covered mountains. The bike ride delivers picturesque scenery all year round: blooming flowers in the spring with the light green buds blossoming on the trees, the flush greens of summer time, vivid autumnal tones coloring the ridge of Yongmunsan Mountain, and the clean white snowflakes resting delicately on the limbs of trees.  

After travelling 10 km along the lakeside road from Cheongpyeong Dam, in the direction of Namiseom Island, you will come across a cluster of white, exotic buildings on the left-hand hillside. From its outward appearance, it would appear to be a village that belongs on the Mediterranean coast or in a pastoral area of the Piedmont Alps. This is Petite France, a French cultural village set in the Korean countryside! Petite France serves as both a French cultural village and a youth training facility (Goseong Youth Training Center), and consists of 16 French-style buildings where visitors can lodge and experience French food, clothing, and household culture.The concept of Petite France encapsulates ‘flowers, stars, and the Little Prince.’ The village contains a memorial hall dedicated to Saint-Exupery, the author of the celebrated French novel, Le Petit Prince (1943) and as such it is called the Little Prince theme park. It also has a gallery displaying sculptures and paintings of le coq gaulois (the Gallic rooster), the national symbol of France; Orgel House where a 200-year-old music box plays a sweet melody; a shop that sells herbal and aromatic products; a souvenir shop; and many other locales where you can experience French culture. The village can accommodate up to 200 visitors with 34 guest rooms that hold four to ten people each. Enjoy the marionette experience and hear percussion instruments from around the world, and also enjoy soap bubble experience.  

Located by Uiamho Lake in the beautiful city of Chuncheon, KT&G Sangsangmadang Chuncheon is a cultural facility that gives visitors and artists the enjoyment, experience, and appreciation of arts and culture. The compound stands on the former location of Gangwon Gymnasium and the Chuncheon Children's Center.Amenities include a theater, live studio, gallery, lecture room, cafe, accommodations, and a music room. 

The Gyujanggak Cartoon Museum is an expansion of the former “Korea Cartoon Museum,” which was the first ever Korean cartoon museum. The Gyujanggak Cartoon Museum preserves and exhibits rare materials from current cartoons and cartoon classics that have historical value. These materials were formerly housed in the Bucheon Manhwa Information Center (formerly the “Korea Manhwa Contents Agency”). The museum was moved from its original location and now resides in the Bucheon Visual Culture Complex and exhibits a wide range of cartoon related artifacts and cartoons from the 1900s to the present. 

Nestled in Yangpyeong, The Greem stands as a captivating fusion of nature and artistry. The park is based on theconcept of a festival in asmall Swiss village and featuresvarious attractions, including a museum, gallery, theme hall, photo zone and trick art, as well as beautiful Swiss buildings and landscapes.  ​Swiss Theme park, located in Gapyeong is a Swiss-styled park surrounded by breathtaking mountainous views. You can call it ‘small’ Switzerland in Korea, because the facilities are Switzerland-inspired architectural designs.
