Daegu(Jung-gu)

Kim Gwangseok-gil Street is a mural street near Bangcheon Market where the now deceased Kim Gwangseok used to live. The 350m long wall has statues and murals depict his life and music. Every autumn, the area of Bangcheon Market and Dongseongno hosts a “Kim Gwangseok’s Singing Contest.”


Daegu(Buk-gu)

The Daegu Citizen Stadium was established on April 20, 1948. It features a main stadium, a baseball stadium, a ssireum (wrestling) stadium, an indoor ice rink, tennis courts, and many more. The baeball stadium, which was completed in February 1981, is also the home stadium of the professional baseball team, the Samsung Lions. Since its expansion in 1975, the Daegu Citizen Stadium has hosted several matches during the 1986 Asian Games and the 1988 Summer Olympics. The Stadium can accommodate up to 13,000 people.

Located in Dongsung-dong, Daehakro (College Street), The Lock Museum displays an impressive array of locks. The owner of the museum, Mr. Choi Hong-gyu worked as a hardware shop employee most of his life and ran his own store, Choi Family Hardware in Gangnam. He invested all of his fortune to make The Lock Museum. Opened in November 2003, The Lock Museum boasts locks, keys, and key holders from around the world. The museum aims to collect, preserve, and study Korean locks and to promote their benefits and design worldwide.The Lock Museum is an important spot in which visitors are exposed to new perspectives on locks. It offers visitors the opportunity to understand the cultural and aesthetic meaning of them. Centered on visitors, the museum will continue to be a facilitator of cultural communication between visitors and locks. 


Incheon(Jung-gu) , Incheon Airport

Constructed for the 2014 Incheon Asian Games, this venue is the largest of all the sports facilities built specifically for the event. Located at 500 Soraero, Namdong-gu, Incheon, it was completed on September 27, 2013. The stadium covers an area of 42,357㎡ and has a seating capacity of 8,828. During the Asian Games, it hosted gymnastics competitions where Son Yeon-jae clinched a gold medal in the individual all-around category. The primary facilities include a main sports floor and an auxiliary sports floor. The venue has been more than just a sports facility; it was the live broadcast location for K-pop Star 4 and K-pop Star 5. Additionally, the 2020 Lunar New Year's Athletic Championships were recorded here. Gyeongsangbuk-do(Gyeongju-si)

BomunTourist Complex is the international tourist district of Gyeongju. This tourist district is formed with Bomunho Lake at its center, located about 10km east of downtown Gyeongju. The dimensions of the area is 19.38 square km, and it is designated as a spa and special tourist district. It is a total tourist complex that opened in April 1979. At the entrance, the stream from Deokdongho Lake flows in, powering a water mill inside, and flows on to a 12m artificial waterfall.Within the Bomun Tourist Complex are facilities designed in a traditional style such as the tourist center, international conference room, golf resort, shopping mall, and a tourist hotel. It contains many amusement facilities such as a ferry port, Yukbu Village, Seonjae Art Gallery, Bomun Outdoor Performance Hall, drive-in theater, and Gyeongju World. Every year from April to January the following year, traditional Korean music (Gugak) performances are held free of charge at Bomun Outdoor Performance Hall. You can also enjoy the hot spring in the Bomun District. Along the lake is a long walkway with many cherry trees. In April the whole walkway is covered with pink petals of cherry blossoms.


Seoul(Seocho-gu) , Gangnam・Samseongdong(COEX)

The Simsan Cultural Center was established to commemorate the Confucianism and patriotic spirit of Simsan Kim Chang-Suk. It is a place that provides educational programs that develop life skills and nurture the artistic sensitivities of program participants, while adding to the overall quality of life of the area’s residents.


Daegu(Jung-gu)

Construction on Gukchaebosang Memorial Park (located in Dongin-dong, Jung-gu District) began in March 1998 and was completed in December 1999. The park was established to retain the spirit of the National Debt Remuneration Movement (a national movement that originated in Daegu in 1907) and to help overcome the debt crisis of 1997. Of course, the park was also created in order to expand green space in the downtown area and offer a place of rest and relaxation to the general public.Spanning 42,500 square meters in size, the park boasts the Dalgubeol Grand Bell, a bell pavilion, walking trails, and other amenities. The famous Dalgubeol Grand Bell was installed on the park grounds in December 1998 as a representation of harmony and prosperity and to symbolically awaken the people with its pure and clear ringing.The park has an ample parking lot (3 underground floors) and is frequented by students who study at the Central Library located within the park. Gukchaebosang Memorial Park is also a popular date destination because of its proximity to the Daegu downtown area. As one of the most recently established parks in Daegu, the park boasts thousands of trees, a large grass plaza, and plenty of benches and resting areas. The beautiful fountains, pavilion, and stone artworks add to the charms of the park. The park hosts diverse cultural events such as music concerts and exhibitions and draws many visitors each Saturday and Sunday for the ceremonial ringing of the Dalgubeol Grand Bell.


Seoul(Gwangjin-gu)

The beloved outdoor swimming pools at Ttukseom was reborn as Supia, a year-round theme park in Hangang. Geumho Art Hall was built exclusively for classical music concerts. It is located on the cultural street by Gwanghwamun. With 315 seats, it has the perfect structure for chamber concerts. All seats are recital hall chairs and the wide spacing between rows of chairs helps the audience to have a pleasant time. Portable chairs are also provided for the handicapped. Once you enter the theater, your cell phones will turn off automatically. This will help you to enjoy the concert without being interrupted by ringing cell phones. The interior is cozy and luxurious, and the stage is made of maple. 150 concerts are held yearly. You can also view the art exhibits displayed at the reception hall. If you are lucky, you will be able to view the art exhibits after watching a concert. Near Geumho Art Hall there are other cultural facilities such as Sejong Center for the Performing Arts and Kyobo bookstore.
