With a scenic view overlooking the West Sea, Songam Art Museum is a French-style building located along the coastal road at the foot of Cheongryangsan Mountain in Incheon. The gallery was built to house a private collection of antiques collected by the late Chairman Lee Hoerim. The gallery, together with all its relics and real-estate, was later donated to Incheon Metropolitan City and introduced as Songam Art Museum. Even before being donated, the gallery has been making contributions to the progress of research regarding the art and culture of Korea and China by displaying both Korean and Chinese antiques related to Korean culture. After its renovation and conversion into a museum, Songam Art Museum added a repository of Korean paintings and ceramic wares. Through continuous investment and research work, the museum is now a cultural space well-appreciated by citizens and tourists alike.

Soando Island, the third in the group of three main islands of the Bogil-myeon island region, features a flourishing fishing port, and eight scenic wonders. In addition, Mira-ri and Maengseong-ri Evergreen Forests, which have been designated as Natural Monuments No.339 and No.340, respectively, offer a breathtaking ocean view. Mira, in particular, is famous for its unique mudflat pebbles. Island History The name of "Soando" comes from the courage of the early island settlers, comprised mostly of the Oh Family of Dongbok and the Kim Family of Gimhae, that had long served as a basis for protection and happiness during the Imjinwaeran (Japanese Invasion). Soando Island is essentially one of the "Holy Lands" of the anti-Japanese colonialism movement. Patriots like Song Nae-ho, who fought hard for independence of Korea from Japan, are remembered on the island. Furthermore, a memorial hall, which houses the Anti-Japanese Colonialism Monument, was established by the islanders in honor of the patriots.

Geumiseong is a mountain fortress built on the summit of Geumseongsan Mountain, which rises 430 meters above sea level. It overlooks Jeonui and Cheonan to the north and Geumgang River to the south. The architecture style of Geumiseong Fortress is a combination of the styles of the Baekje Dynasty and the early Unified Silla. Based on the relics found inside the fortress, it is thought to have been built in the Goryeo period. The robustness of the fortress takes advantage of the rugged topography, so much so that it had been known as ironclad bastion among common people. The eastern side of the fortress has considerably collapsed, but the southern part is in a relatively good condition. The western and northern walls are also in bad conditions. Some earthenware pieces were found where there once stood a watchtower. Also, some pieces of roof tiles were found where there was a fortress building in the central part of the fortress on mountain summit. The earthenware pieces are hard porcelain and soft glass wares like bowls and pots. The tile pieces mostly feature fishbone patterns in dark gray color.
