Yeongjogwan is one of the 11 buildings located within the Korean traditional hotel ‘Royal Room Of King’, with a view over the Jeonjucheon Stream. The hotel has 11 buildings named after the historical kings of Joseon Dynasty, and Yeongjogwan, named after the 21st king of Joseon, has two rooms: The Gold Room, and the Silver Room. Both rooms feature a design that tastefully integrates the Korean traditional hanok construction with modern techniques. The Gold Room, located on the 2nd floor of the building, is dominated by the exposed wooden beams under the roof, while the 1st floor’s Silver Room has a lower ceiling than the Gold Room, and thus feel cozier. Each unit is made up of a bedroom with two double beds, living room with low tables and seats, and a whirlpool bathroom. The bathroom is equipped with whirlpool bath and shower facilities and is separate from the toilet. The bedroom and the living room are separated by a traditional screen covered with hanji, traditional paper of Korea. Amenities in the unit include a refrigerator, electric kettle, and hairdryer. The lawn outside is furnished with traditional plays like Yutnori, Tuho, Neolttwigi, and Gamatagi. There are two restaurants and a cafe within the hotel complex, allowing the guests to enjoy their meal in the comfort and grandeur of Korean architecture. One of the restaurants, Hyangwonjeong, offers a sumptuous breakfast spread including salads, namul (vegetable side dishes), jeon (pancakes and battered items), bread, and bacon. The hotel complex is located close to major tourist attractions of Jeonju; a 5-minute drive gets one to Jeonju Hanok Village, Nambu Market, and Pungnammun Gate.

There is also a rooftop area reserved for guests and a cafe on the premises for food and beverages. Guests have great access to the nearby beach across the street from Stay Gajin. It is not a popular beach, so it does not attract many visitors; guests can enjoy a quiet outing like a private beach.

Village 736 is a pension hotel located in Hongcheon-gun, Gangwon-do with six private guest buildings. With Geumhaksan Mountain in the back and the Hongcheongang River in the front, Village 736 boasts a great view with a glimpse of Soeppulbong Peak of Maebongsan Mountain over the Hongcheongang River. There is also an outdoor swimming pool at the center of the premises, which creates an open atmosphere. The private guest buildings are located around the outdoor swimming pool, and the accommodation has wooden decks that create an overall well-organized vibe. Apart from the family guest building, all guest buildings are three-story buildings with a unique design. Upon opening the front door, guests can see a kitchen where they can cook. The buildings have private outdoor decks where guests can relax in the sun by opening the folding door. The living room is on the second floor. Guests can also enjoy hot baths during their stay inside a Hinoki cypress bathtub by the window. Lastly, the bedroom space is on the third floor. It has a great view overlooking the Hongcheongang River. At night, guests can also enjoy stars glistening in the night sky. The Lovely Motel consists of five floors above ground and 44 guestrooms, of which only four Pension-type Family Rooms are equipped with cooking facilities. The guestrooms are divided into rooms with a view of the sea and rooms with a view of the city. The interior of the motel has recently been refurbished to provide more pleasant and comfortable accommodation. The large restaurant located in the basement level, which is also used as a seminar room or workshop space, provides breakfast, but groups of guests are asked to reserve meals in advance. The entrance is equipped with a wheelchair lift for disabled guests. Guests can easily reach the seaside at Gyeongpo (15 minutes’ walk) and Gyeongpodae Pavilion by foot and can visit Gangneung’s main tourist destinations by public transport as a bus stop is situated close by.
