This hanok (traditional Korean house) hotel is located near Jeonju Hanok Village. The hotel has enjoyed great popularity among the tourists visiting Jeonju since its opening in 2018, for its convenient location of only a 7-min drive away from Jeonju Hanok Village and its faithful recreation of hanok’s beauty with modern sensibilities. The hotel complex stands on a plot of land spanning 19,840 m2, containing 11 residential buildings and other facilities. As the name of the hotel indicates, each building in the hotel is named after the kings of the Joseon Dynasty. Sejonggwan is named after King Sejong. Sejonggwan has eight rooms, divided between Gold and Silver Rooms. Each room is a self-contained unit made up of bedrooms and restrooms, furnished with a combination of hanok’s unique charms and modern comfort. The view of the wooden exposed beams (Gold Room), paintings on the wall, and the view of the nature beyond the window wall recreate the unique scenery of the hanok, while amenities such as TV, refrigerator, and air conditioning offer a comfortable stay. Other facilities inside the hotel complex include the spacious parking lot, an elegant hanok cafe, and the Convention Center, housing family-size Daejanggeum Hall and Hunminjeongeum Hall, a large hall suited for seminars. It takes only 10 min by car to reach any tourist sites near Jeonju Hanok Village from the hotel.

Donghae hanok Donganjae

Donganjae, a traditional Korean style house located near the beach in Donghae City of Gangwon-do, was opened in June 2018. The traditional Korean style house is equipped with modern facilities for convenience while still maintaining the elegant mood of a traditional house. The rooms are located in 5 traditional buildings. The foot bath in the garden gives the feel of a pool villa. Each of the 5 independent buildings (named Mureung, Duta, Chooam, Mukho, and Mangsang to accommodate 3-4 guests in each building) has an upper floor of which the three sides can be opened to command an unobstructed view. The outdoor foot bath in the center of the garden with pine trees relieves fatigue, and the soothing scent of pine trees completes the ambiance. It is possible to cook food in the room. Each room also has a bathroom equipped with bidet and a shower booth. The recently constructed buildings are also handicapped-friendly. There is a parking space exclusive for these guests. There is also no raised spot at the gate and the threshold is made very low for easy entrance and exit. Various tools such as Tuho, Yut, Jegi, and top are ready for playing traditional games. You can likewise try wearing hanbok, Korean traditional clothes. The nearby tourist attractions include Cheongok Natural Cave, Chooam Chotdaebawi Rock, Mangsang Beach, Mukho Por,t and Mukho Lighthouse. There is a walking path behind the pension in the pine forest.

Namunjae Pension

Namunjae Tourism Farm is placed on a lot measuring 83,000㎡ on a separate island located within Anmyeondo Island. It is a small-sized and cozy family getaway destination created in 2003. Surrounding the island is a 2km-walking trail (40-minute route) where diverse trees such as pine trees and oaks as well as wild flowers grow. The island has a mudflat and a salt farm where you may experience some field activities. The name “Namunjae” comes from a certain annual grass which grows in sandy soil near the beach. You can see a lot of this plant, which is green in spring and summer and turns to red in autumn, at the mudflat in front of the pension. Namunjae Pension consists of two large complexes, with 42 rooms, restaurants, a arm, café, and a gallery. Many people come to visit the guesthouse which has so many splendors to offer.

Hostel Familie occupies two floors of a four-story building located in Choryang-dong, Dong-gu, Busan, which is less than two minutes away from Busan Station and 10 minutes away from Busan Port International Passenger Terminal, both on foot. It has six rooms with a bed, four dormitory-style rooms with beds, and one dormitory-style 'ondol (floor-heated)' room for those who prefer to sleep on the heated floor. Each of the guestrooms has a kitchen for guests who wish to cook, but guests staying in a dormitory can use the shared kitchen. All the guestrooms have a bathroom with shower. The hostel has computers in the lounge for the guests’ use.
