Gyeonggi-do(Namyangju-si) , Namyangju

Opened in 1995, Chungnyeongsan Mountain Natural Recreation Forest is located at Oebang-ri, Sudong-myeon, Namyangju-si, Gyeonggi-do, around 1 hour from Seoul. The recreation forest has various trekking courses leading to Chungnyeongsan Mountain and Seorisan Mountain and facilities like the forest park, training facility, water play site, nature observation sites, camping sites, and more.

Spa Plus is located in Icheon City, Gyeonggi-do Province, which has been a famous hot springs region for over 500 years. It has been said that Spa Plus’ hot spring waters have healing components that are effective in treating eye diseases and skin troubles. Spa Plus presents a variety of jjimjilbang themed areas to enjoy along with an outdoor area where you can relax in the warm hot spring waters.First opened in December of 2002, Spa Plus is a hot springs facility located inside the Hotel Miranda, which is the largest 2nd class hotel of the Icheon area. The main spa complex is located on the 10th floor and the annex on the 3rd floor.

Everland Summer Splash, one of the main summer festivals in Everland, is held annually from June to August. The festival is packed with various programs like splash parades, fireworks and a 3D mapping show held at night, and a new themed garden, featuring more hands-on contents for visitors. 


Gyeonggi-do(Suwon-si) , suwon

Sambuja Galbi carries on the legacy of Suwon galbi (beef ribs) after the closing of Hwachunok, which used to be a representative ribs restaurant of Suwon up until the early 80’s. Kim Su-kyeong, the former manager at Hwachunok, is operating Sambuja Galbi now with his 30 years worth of know-how as a ribs specialist. The restaurant name “Sambuja” means “a father and two sons” in Korean. In the literal sense of the word, two sons are helping their father in managing the restaurant and following the tradition of Suwon galbi.


Gyeonggi-do(Gapyeong-gun) , Namyangju

Located in Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do Province, Jaraseom Island is an island formed on the Bukhangang River as a result of the construction of the Cheongpyeong Dam in 1943. The name ‘Jaraseom’ comes from the fact that it faces a hill that resembles a Jara (Korean word for soft-shelled turtle). Jaraseom consists of four islands called Dongdo, Seodo, Jungdo, and Namdo, and has various leisure and park facilities. Visitors can find a car camping site and the filming location of the popular TV drama series 'Iris' on Seodo (west island), and an eco-cultural park with a grass plaza of over 100 meters in diameter on Jungdo (central island). There is also an ecosystem theme park called Ehwawon Garden at the westernmost tip of the Jaraseom Campground. A popular camping spot, Jaraseom Island is also widely known as the venue of the annual Jaraseom International Jazz Festival.


Gyeonggi-do(Paju-si) , Paju(Heyri Art valley)

Dorasan Station, a railway station on the Gyeongui Line, is the northernmost stop on South Korea's railway line. Located 56 km from Seoul and 205 km from Pyeongyang, the station was opened as a tourist attraction on April 4, 2002 right before the 2002 Korea-Japan World Cup.Dorasan station can be reached by getting on the Gyeongui Line from Seoul Station. After presenting your identification at Imjingang Station, you can get on a train bound for Dorasan Station. Since it is the northernmost part of South Korea, Dorasan Station will also play the role of customs and immigration for visitors entering South Korea through the station when the Gyeongui Line Railroad connection is completed.Since this area is within the Civilian Control Zone (CCZ), visitors and tourists will only be granted access after presenting a valid identification document at Imjingang Station.


Gyeonggi-do(Suwon-si) , suwon
