If you are an owl lover or enjoy seeing handcrafted pieces of art, the Owl Museum is the place for you. This owl themed museum is filled with pieces of art, crafts, useful household items and accessories. The items here come from over 70 countries including China, the United States, the Czech Republic, and Poland. Over 2000 pieces can be found right under one roof.Owl themed folding screens, dishes, vases, sculptures, and even owl stamps are among the diverse selection on display here. When people think of an owl museum, an image of a stuffed owl usually pops into their heads. No stuffed owls can be found at this museum. It is full of many unique items.The Owl Museum was originally a private residence. The structure was remodeled and made into a museum, but managed to keep its original charm. The owner’s second son, who majored in design, chose owl wallpaper to add to the unique atmosphere. Visitors to the museum are treated to a free, tasty cup of tea.


Incheon(Namdong-gu) , Incheon Center

Daegu(Suseong-gu)

Suseong Resort is located at the foot of the northwest side of Yongjibong Peak (629m) in Beommul-dong and offers outstanding scenery including gentle mountains along with Suseong Pond. The resort is centered around Suseong Pond, established in 1925 with 70,000 pondage in a circumfrence of 2,020m. The total area of the park is 218,000 ㎡. Suseong pond is an artificial pond created in 1925 during Japanese colonial era to supply water for agriculture to rural areas. These days, it is no longer used for agricultural purposes, but has turned into a resting area. Nearby the pond is Suseong Land which houses benches, trees, cruise boarding dock, biking, bumper car, merry-go round and other entertainment facilities. Also, visitors can enjoy a duck-boat, Dusan waterfalls and other exciting places perfect for excursion. Built in September 2007, the music fountain operates from May to October four times a day during the week.


Gyeongsangbuk-do(Andong-si)

Situated in front of Andong Station, Andong Hanu Galbi boasts a 40-year history serving top-grade galbi used for its steamed dishes and doenjang-jjigae made from soybean paste from the countryside. The menu consists of spicy braised beef ribs, beef ribs marinated in soy sauce, premium beef short ribs, and premium beef short ribs marinated with garlic. Given the restaurant's location, it makes for easy transportation, and its proximity near the Andong Dam and Dosan Seowon Confucian School, is continually attracting customers and tourists.

Jeju-do(Jeju-si) , TheWestern Part of the Jeju Island

Hyeopjae Beach (협재해수욕장) is located on the west side of Hanrim-eup, and is part of Hanrim Park. The beautiful white color of the sand comes from the large amounts of crushed seashells that have been mixed in with the sand. The long seashore stretches for 9 km and has cobalt colored seawater and evergreen forests scattered around the vicinity, making the scenery very beautiful. Just off the beach is Biyangdo Island. The white sandy beach is about 20 meters long, and the water is 1.2 meters deep with no sudden drops. In the evergreen groves, there are plenty of convenient facilities and campgrounds for visitors to use.Hanrim Park nearby, provides interesting tour sites such as a subtropical arboretum, Hyeopjaegul Cave, and Ssangyonggul Cave. The seashore to the southwest of Hyeopjae Beach connects to another beach called Geumreung Beach, and both beaches combined are also called Hyeopjae Beach. From any beach on Jejudo Island, you can always see Mt. Hallasan. It is a great place for a relaxing family vacation.
