Gyeonggi-do(Namyangju-si) , Namyangju

KOFIC Namyangju Studios is located at Yangsu-ri, Gyeonggi-do and includes outdoor sets as well as studios. At the Film Culture Museum, it is possible to see and experience all stages of film production from beginning to end. In addition, there are many props and accessories as well as wardrobe departments. The outdoor sets from the Korean hit "JSA" in 2000 to director Im Kweon-taek's film "Chilhwaseon (Strokes of Fire)" are located here.

Gyeongsangnam-do(Jinju-si)

Jinju National Museum is located within Jinju Castle. After opening in 1984, it reopened in 1998 under the name of “Imjin Waeran Specialty Museum”. The exhibits of the museum are based on Imjin Waeran (Japanese Invasion in 1594), instead of having a purely local flavor. Jinju is the site of the greatest battle of Imjin Waeran, the battle of Jinju Castle, which is why there are many relics about the war at the museum, such as Chokseokru. On the 1st floor you can see literature, paintings and listen to music about the war. You can see the record of POWs and the progress of the war, in the point-of-view of westerners. The exhibited relics were excavated from around the country, and even include relics from Japan, giving you a more complete picture, and the theme based arrangement of the exhibits make it easier to understand the war as a whole. Along the passage you can see many items depicting the major events of the war. There is an exhibit hall called Du-Am Hall with about 179 relics, mainly paintings, pottery, and craftwork, which were donated by Mr. Du-Am. On the 2nd floor you can actively experience the progression of the events in the war. The relics are arranged chronologically, classified by soldier, class, and weapons, etc. The exhibit hall starts with the exhibit on the outbreak of the war, and ends with the book Ichungmugong, which contains the will of General Yi Sun-Sin. You can also see a large-scale model of Geobukseon (Turtle Ship), which was the pride of the Korean Navy at the time.


Jeollanam-do(Damyang-gun)

Juknokwon in Damyang is a bamboo forest cultivated by the town of Damyang. Seonginsan Mountain behind Damyang Hyanggyo (Confucian school) was transformed into Juknokwon Bamboo Garden featuring a beautiful artificial waterfall, pavilion, walking paths and an eco-exhibition center, a popular destination for visitors. It takes about 1 hour to tour around the entire garden. Crossing Hyanggyo Bridge from Juknokwon, a forest for preventing floods can be seen. Lights are turned on in the evenings in the bamboo forest for night walk. 


Gyeonggi-do(Hanam-si) , Namyangju

Nandana is a bakery cafe operated by Woljeongsa Temple. The breads are made with organic flour and use no butter, milk, or eggs. The bakery makes a limited amount of bread each day to ensure none goes to waste.


Chungcheongbuk-do(Danyang-gun)

Suyanggae Prehistory Museum boasts itself as the largest prehistoric site in Korea. The museum contains a multitude of remains, especially stone toolkits, of the late Stone Age and has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The stone toolkits were discovered by a museum of Chungbuk National University while the team was on the project to excavate historical remains around the site that were submerged due to the construction of Chungju Dam. The museum provides detailed explanations and maps marked for the prehistorical sites in Danyang. Visitors can learn the life and wisdom of Paleolithic man in the museum.


Daejeon(Dong-gu)

Daedong Sky Park was formed during the Rainbow Project on December 2009. Windmill, which represents the park, is located 127 meters above sea level. Visitors can see an amazing panoramic view of the city as well as relax in one of many benches and pagodas. Mural Village connected to the Sky Park offers themed coffee shops becoming a popular attraction.


Chungcheongbuk-do(Danyang-gun)

Chungjuho is a large artificial lake bordered by Chungju, Jecheon and Danyang cities. Well-known tourist sites located near Chungjuho Lake include Woraksan National Park, Cheongpung Cultural Heritage Complex, and the "Eight Scenic Views of Danyang."
