Mokpo Culture & Arts Center

Mokpo Culture & Arts Center is in Yonghae-dong, Mokpo-si, Jeollanam-do. The center opened in July 1997 and has two buildings, an exhibition hall, which includes seven exhibition rooms and two special rooms, and performance hall, which has a 698 seat auditorium.

Cheonan Three-way Intersection Park
Chungcheongnam-do(Cheonan-si)

The Cheonan Three-way Intersection Park (Cheonan Samgeori Park) was known as the Samnamdaero junction back in the day. The prominent gorvernors passed by this road and the humble scholars stopped by to take a rest at this place. The park was built to commemorate Cheonan Samgeori, which is famous for Heungtaryeong (a Korean folk song that expresses happy and joyful feelings). Cheonan aims to make this historic road a tourist attraction by planting weeping willows along the streets. Yeongnamru Pavilion (영남루), the gatehouse of Hwachukgwan House (화축관) (the guesthouse for Kings), was also moved to the lake. Various cultural events like the Cheonan World Dance Festival (Cheonan Heungtaryeong Festival) (천안 흥타령춤축제) take place in this park every year.

Dokdo Museum
Gyeongsangbuk-do(Ulleung-gun)

Dokdo Museum was built in 1995 in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Independence of Korea. It exhibits the collection of Lee Jong-hak, the first director of the museum, as well as donations by groups associated with Dokdo.The exhibit provides a historical overview of Dokdo, from the Three Kingdoms Era to the present. It also focuses on disproving Japan’s claim to Dokdo and its use of the name “Sea of Japan” to describe Korea’s East Sea. Gallery 1 features materials and maps showing Dokdo as being part of Korean territory before the Sino-Japanese War; Gallery 2 displays Japanese maps showing Dokdo as being a Korean territory, and Gallery 3 displays materials on activities of Ulleungdo Island residents to defend Dokdo during the Korean War. In the outdoor Dokdo Museum, which is currently under construction, natural stones and plants indigenous of Ulleungdo Island can be enjoyed.

Yumyeongsan Mountain Natural Recreation Forest

Located in Gyeonggi-do Gapyeong, Yumyeongsan Mountain was designated as the best natural recreation forest in Seoul because of its beautiful assortment of trees, valleys, and log cabins. Ilsan Beach
Gyeongsangnam-do(Goseong-gun)

Located 1km north of Baneojin, Ilsan Beach is a fine-grained sandy beach that is 600m in length, 40-60m in x_width, and 26,000㎡ in total area. The water is relatively shallow at 1-2 meters in depth and holds an average temperature of around 21.2 degrees Celsius. Every July, there is a beach festival and in just a few months a beachside amusement park will be opening up to the public. Ilsan Beach offers various amenities and is surrounded by accommodation facilities, allowing for a comfortable and pleasant stay. Nearby tourist attractions include Daewangam Park and Hwaam Boat Trail Mark Management Center, which has a lighthouse exhibition center and the highest lighthouse observatory in the area, giving visitors a wide-open view of Ulsanhang Harbor. Suwon station

Suwon Station first started out as a non-express train station on January 1, 1905. Subsequently on December 31, 1975, a subway station was added. The station is on Seoul Subway Line 1 and Gyeongbu Railroad, on which Samaeul Train and Mugunghwa Train operate. On January 1, 1996, they closed down Suin Line and the Narrow Gauge Train Station was no longer in operation. In February 2003, a privately-funded station was established.
