Gyeonggi-do(Seongnam-si) , Bundang

Ugane Nureongso is a Korean restaurant specializing in hanu (Korean beef) that is cut at its own butcher's. The most popular menu item is the charcoal grilled hanu. The restaurant has several private rooms as well as an outdoor terrace.


Jeollanam-do(Yeosu-si)

Located approximately halfway between Yeosu-si City and Jeju Island, Geomundo Island is part of the Dadohae Maritime National Park. It is divided into Dongdo, Seodo, and Godo Islands, all of which offer scenic views of quaint towns and surrounding nature. Also, Geomundo is the access point for the famous Baekdo Island group, a spectacular array of uninhabited rock pinnacles attached with numerous legends. Island History Geomundo Island's history dates back to the bronze era with the discovery of a stone sword on one of the islands. Subsequent discoveries of coins from the Han Dynasty (206BC-220AD) that were used for more than 700 years up to 621AD have also been found. Discoveries of celadon from the Goryeo Dynasty (918-1392) have also been located on Geomundo’s islands. Geomundo had been commonly known as Godo until the British sailors arrived on the island in 1885, and put claim to the island in order to construct a naval port to fight off the Russian fleets. They named it Port Hamilton. Soon, Admiral Jeong Yeochang came to Geomundo to challenge the audacity of the British, and, in turn, was struck by the high literacy level of the islanders. He recommended to the then ruler that the island be renamed ‘Geomun,’ meaning ‘great literacy.’ The British sailors eventually perished, but their graves can be found in a well-preserved cemetery on the island.


Gyeonggi-do(Namyangju-si) , Namyangju

Located in Joan-myeon, Namyangju-si, Gyeonggi-do, KOFIC Namyangju Studios is a film-making studio complex built on a 1,323,113㎡ site with an outdoor filming studio, 6 indoor studios of different sizes, a recording studio, and various film-making equipment. More specifically, the complex has large-scale outdoor sets that were made to shoot Korean movies J.S.A. and Chihwaseon (Painted Fire). Additional attractions of the park include a miniature exhibition hall that shows props used in the 3D animation movie Wonderful Days and its film making process, the Film Culture Museum where visitors can learn about the birth and technological development of films as well as the film making process, the video experience hall where visitors can have hands-on experience in the world of visuals and audio, the video principle experience hall where one can experience and learn the basic principles of films, a wardrobe department, a prop room, and the Cine Theater that screens a Korean film every month for free.


Seoul(Gangnam-gu) , Gangnam・Samseongdong(COEX)

The Yangjaecheon stream (15.6km long) is one of the tributaries of the Hangang River, originating from Cheonggyeosan and Gwanaksan mountains and flowing through the Gwacheon region to Gangnam. The small road and path that run from Dogok-dong to Daechi-dong along Yangjaecheon Stream is known as the ‘Yangjaecheon Stream Gil’.The Trail is the perfect place to take a drive since the road is lined with around 830 stately metasequoia trees. The walking path that runs along the banks of the stream (known as the ‘streetlight walk’) is a particularly popular date spot, since the trees backlit by the streetlights provide a wonderfully romantic atmosphere. The ‘Yangjaecheon Stream Trail’ area is famous as well for its bike course that runs all the way from Gwacheon to Gangnam.


Jeju-do(Jeju-si) , SinJeju

Through this, the musical attracted many foreign visitors from all over the world, passing on Korean cultural values and beauty, as well as creating interest on the global stage. As of now, the theater is showing the performance "The 2nd Story of Miso: Baebijang-jeon," a reinterpretation of the fundamental values of Korean cultural and art into the modern era. It can easily be enjoyed by people from all walks of life, whether Korean or not.


Seoul(Jung-gu) , Myeongdong

NANTA is one of Korea's top performances, a show about four chefs who must prepare a wedding banquet in just one hour. The plot is depicted through various genres of performances, including percussion that uses kitchen utensils to make beats based on traditional rhythms of samulnori (traditional percussion quartet). The entire show has no spoken dialogue, yet plenty of comedy and romance, too. Meanwhile, since its debut in October 1997, NANTA (also known as Cookin') has earned international acclaim, having been performed on Broadway and at other famous venues worldwide. * Note Due to the MERS outbreak, some performances will be discontinued until July 2015.


Seoul(Jongno-gu) , Insadong・Jongnon

Wiki Cafe is a cafe near Gyeongbokgung Palace and is owned and operated by the mother of Sung Min from Super Junior, the famous boy band. With light steps, and just as if you are in your neighbor’s home, you can walk up the wooden stairs to the 2nd floor of the cafe, which is a terrace, and on that terrace, you can see a view Gyeongbokgung Palace. During the evening, as lights fall on the rampart stairs of Kwangwhamun, it creates/exudes a very warm mood. It is a good place to rest after viewing Gyeongbokgung Palace, Kwangwhamun Plaza, and galleries around these attractions. Its menu is filled with beverages such as coffee and teas, desserts such as waffles, cakes, and many other varieties of desserts.
