Gyeonggi-do(Pocheon-si) , Pocheon

Jainsa Temple in Pocheon (Gyeonggi-do) lies deep within the rugged cliffs of Myeongseongsan Mountain. Located nearby Sanjeong Lake, the two sites are often enjoyed together by visitors to this majestic area.The path leading to the temple is lined with an impressive array of towering pine trees. Just inside the temple grounds is a Buddhist statue resembling Maitreya, or a ‘future Buddha’ surrounded by an elaborate Buddhist sanctuary known as Geuknakbojeon. Behind the sanctuary is a valley with steep cliffs from which visitors can look down upon beautiful Sanjeong Lake. The temple is also home to a variety of stone pagodas, a statue resembling Avalokitesvara (the Buddhist goddess of mercy), and a water spring, the latter of which attracts visitors for its rumored medicinal powers.Nearby tourist attractions include Myeongseongsan Mountain, Sanjeong Lake, Hantangang River, Hwajeokyeon, Sambuyeon Falls, Sundam Valley, and Geumsu Jeongji.


Gangwon-do(Gangneung-si)

Located in Namwon, Jeollabuk-do, Baemsagol is a 9-km grand valley, situated at the northern foot of Jirisan Mountain. Stretching from Banyabong Peak and Tokkibong Peak toward Sannae-myeon of Namwon-si, the valley is renowned for its beautiful autumn foliage. Baemsagol Valley is popular as a summer vacation destination because there’s always an abundance of water and forest trees. In the fall, the hills become ablaze with autumn tints, small streams flow over rock beds, and small pools of clear water from under the rocks give tourists a nice reason to linger. Other notable places nearby include Seonindae, Seoksil, Yoryongdae, Tagyongso, Byeongso, Byeongpungso, Jeseungdae and Ganjangso.


Jeju-do(Jeju-si) , Former Jeju

The Crinum Lily Habitat on Jeju-do's Tokkiseom Island (Rabbit Island) is located 50 meters off the coast of Hado-ri, Gujwa-eup in Jeju-si. Crinum lilies grow in an environment where the average temperature is around 15℃ with the lowest temperature no less than minus 3.5℃. The flower is white and blooms from July to September. They bloom at night and have a strong fragrance.


Jeollabuk-do(Jinan-gun)

Maisan Condoville, recipient of a three-star rating from Michelin Green Guide, is situated at the entrance to the unique Maisan Mountain, which consists of a couple of peaks named the "female" and "male" peaks in Jinan-gun, Jeollabuk-do. The two peaks can be seen from the windows of all the guest rooms. Jinan’s specialties include red ginseng and ginseng.

The Yeosu Geobukseon Ship Festival, which takes place around Yi Sun-shin Square, provides an opportunity for locals and tourists to come together and enjoy a range of hands-on programs. In addition to the variety of traditional performances and ceremonies, main events include the Geobukseon Ship-drying event, a drawing contest, and a one-night, two-day historical tour program for teens. Yet another crowd-pleaser is the Yeosu International Fireworks Competition, a brilliant display held against the backdrop of the vast sea in front of Yi Sun-shin Square. Visitors can take home part of the magic by purchasing local products at discounted prices at the festival marketplace.


Jeju-do(Seogwipo-si)

Jeju Aerospace Museum is an advanced aerospace museum which combines education and entertainment with aerospace, a future industry. Various aircrafts that embody the history of world aerospace as well as those that hold traces of Korea's air force are exhibited midair. Visitors can learn about astronomy from the ancient times to future space exploration. Also, the museum shows the 13.7 billion-year old history of the entire universe including the solar system, galaxy and large black holes. with their structures and how they were created. Visitors can touch meteorites from outer space, as well as sit in the pilot seat of an airplane and explore the future universe with advanced multimedia. The museum helps visitors gain knowledge about science technologies related to aerospace with ease through various fun activities.


Gyeonggi-do(Anseong-si) , Anseong

Gang Seonyeong, who devoted a lifetime to traditional dance, built the Taepyeongmu Initiation Hall (태평무 전수관) at her own expense in 1998 in her hometown of Anseong for the proper initiation into, and the preservation of traditional dance. A traditional dance performance is held every Saturday at the center for visitors and a traditional dance competition is held annually to preserve Korea’s traditional dance and to discover new talent. The center has a large performance hall (430m2) where up to 400 people can enjoy a performance; a museum displaying Taepyeongmu dance-related materials and folk articles from around the world; two practice rooms; and lodging facilities that can accommodate up to 70 individuals. * Taepyeongmu Dance (Korean Intangible Cultural Asset No. 92) Court dancing that embodies the continuing hope for the nation to exist in peace. The dancers are adorned in magnificent regal costumes and execute enthusiastic movements, alternating steps while in serene repose.
