Jeollabuk-do(Jeonju-si)

Yeongjogwan is one of the 11 buildings located within the Korean traditional hotel ‘Royal Room Of King’, with a view over the Jeonjucheon Stream. The hotel has 11 buildings named after the historical kings of Joseon Dynasty, and Yeongjogwan, named after the 21st king of Joseon, has two rooms: The Gold Room, and the Silver Room. Both rooms feature a design that tastefully integrates the Korean traditional hanok construction with modern techniques. The Gold Room, located on the 2nd floor of the building, is dominated by the exposed wooden beams under the roof, while the 1st floor’s Silver Room has a lower ceiling than the Gold Room, and thus feel cozier. Each unit is made up of a bedroom with two double beds, living room with low tables and seats, and a whirlpool bathroom. The bathroom is equipped with whirlpool bath and shower facilities and is separate from the toilet. The bedroom and the living room are separated by a traditional screen covered with hanji, traditional paper of Korea. Amenities in the unit include a refrigerator, electric kettle, and hairdryer. The lawn outside is furnished with traditional plays like Yutnori, Tuho, Neolttwigi, and Gamatagi. There are two restaurants and a cafe within the hotel complex, allowing the guests to enjoy their meal in the comfort and grandeur of Korean architecture. One of the restaurants, Hyangwonjeong, offers a sumptuous breakfast spread including salads, namul (vegetable side dishes), jeon (pancakes and battered items), bread, and bacon. The hotel complex is located close to major tourist attractions of Jeonju; a 5-minute drive gets one to Jeonju Hanok Village, Nambu Market, and Pungnammun Gate.


Gyeongsangbuk-do(Pohang-si)

Chungcheongbuk-do(Okcheon-gun)

Hagye-ri in Okcheon-eup, Okcheon-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do, is the hometown of Jeong Jiyong, the poet who wrote the poem "Hyangsu" (Nostalgia). The Jeong Jiyong Literature Gallery is located next to Jeong Jiyong's birthplace. The gallery has a Literature Exhibition Hall, which is divided  of four parts: Jeong Jiyong's Chronological History, Jiyeong's Life and Literature, Jiyong Literature Map, and Exhibition of his Original Copy of Prose and Poem. At the Literature Experience Center, visitors can learn more about literature through various multimedia platforms. The Video Room shows a documentary about Jiyong's life and literature while the Literature Class is the venue for lectures, poem discussions, seminars, and other literature club activities.


Gyeongsangnam-do(Tongyeong-si)

Along with the Nammangsan Sculpture Park, the Tongyeong Civic Center is a local cradle for creativity and provides a space for artists and citizens of the region. As a recognized venue for culture and arts, the multi-purpose center presents a wide range of performances and exhibitions that share artwork from other parts of the country and contributes to the overall development of art and culture in the region.


Jeollabuk-do(Muju-gun)

The Geumgang Speed Muju Rafting resort is located on the upper Geumggang River and offers rafting, survival, hiking, and fishing programs. The area is over 3,000 pyeong in size and can accommodate lodging for up to 200 guests.

Gyeongsangnam-do(Miryang-si)

Miryang Museum features cultural items and materials of the Nakdonggang River area. The purpose of the museum is to effectively preserve, exhibit, and acknowledge the history and culture of the area through collecting, researching, investigating and organizing the items on display. In addition, the museum was established to enhance cultural nostalgia and contribute to social education. The museum is comprised of several halls, including a permanent exhibition hall and a temporary exhibition hall, showing the history of the Miryang area during the Samhan era and the Joseon Dynasty. Collections include various cultural assets designated by Gyeongsangnam-do, as well as an exhibit-style storage of literary works, and folk and daily relics. Other attractions are located in the exhibition of fossils and Independence Hall. The fossil exhibition hall, located inside Miryang Museum, contains 244 items collected from throughout the world. At the Miryang Independence Hall, visitors can come to know the historical independence activists such as Kim Wonbong and Yun Seju, who are from Miryang. The hall exhibits the major movement that took place in Miryang in March 13, 1919, as well as the bombing incident of Paris-Jangseo Sogeon, which took place at Miryang Police Station. All the items on display here help visitors take in and appreciate the modern history of Miryang.
