Uamsajeok Park

Uamsajeok Park is widely known as the ancient meditation site of the renowned Confucian scholar, “Uam (pen name) Song Si-yeol” (1607-1689). As such, it houses several buildings used by and dedicated to the scholar, including: Namganjeongsa (academy of Uam Song Si-yeol), Gigukjeong Pavilion, and Songjadaejeonpan (a collection of the written works of Uam Song Si-yeol).

Borinara Hagwon Farm

From late summer to early autumn, the field is filled with snow-white buckwheat flowers that create a seemingly endless, breathtaking view. The buckwheat flower festival takes place around September. Between the barely harvest and the buckwheat seeding, sunflowers color the field a bright sunshine yellow. Any time from spring through autumn, you may enjoy the ever-changing beauty of nature.
