Gyeonggi-do(Icheon-si) , Icheon

Icheon Hot Springs is conveniently located close to Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. Its water is colorless, odorless, and tasteless and contains minerals like magnesium, calcium chloride, sodium chloride, calcium carbonate. Particularly, it has high amounts of sodium that is beneficial to various skin disease, neuralgia, and eye disease. The temperature of the water is around 30℃, which is somewhat low, so make sure to occasionally warm up when using the water. Gangwon-do(Chuncheon-si)

Gugok Falls (구곡폭포) is located near Bonghwasan Mountain in Chuncheon-si, Gangwon-do. The falls twist and turn nine different times before dropping down from a huge stone wall, ending in a magnificent 50m cascade. The falls are surrounded by interesting rock formations, one of which includes the Haneulbyeokbawi Rock.Gugok Falls was designated as one of Chuncheon city’s official tourist attractions on February 13th, 1981. From the ticket office located at the entrance, it takes about 20 minutes to get to the falls on foot. In winter, the waterfalls are very popular among hikers because, when frozen, the x_height and the sheer size of the falls are perfect for ice climbing. If you hike through a nearby jae (a small mountain pass) named "Kkaldakgogae (깔닥고개)", you will come across a natural Munbae village where you can enjoy Sanchaebibimbap (mixed rice with seasoned wild vegetables) and traditional liquor.


Gyeonggi-do(Suwon-si) , suwon

It is located in the town of Bongpyeong-myeon in Pyeongchang-gun County, which was the hometown of the famous Korean writer Lee Hyo-seok (1907-1942) and the background setting of his representative novel ‘When Buckwheat Blossoms Bloom.’ Mooee Arts Center opened on April 18, 2001 after 2 years of preparation by Korean artists of various genres including the Western-style painter Jeong Yeon-seo, calligrapher Lee Cheon-seop, sculptor Oh Sang-wook, and potter Kwon Soon-beom. The schoolyard has been turned into an outdoor sculpture park displaying large-scale sculptures. The arts center also offers hands-on experience programs and a chance to view the artists creating their pieces.


Seoul(Seodaemun-gu) , Seoul City Hall・Gwanghwamun

Jeju-do(Seogwipo-si)

Located at the outskirts of Mt. Halla, Hueree Natural Park is one of the most local and beautiful parks on Jeju Island. Commonly depicted as “an island within the island,” the park is a fun place to experience nature and its importance. It offers various seasonal programs: Apricot Flower Festival, Plum Harvest, and Orange Mandarin Harvest. Earthenware, Dottong (traditional local bathroom), and millstones offer a glimpse of local life and culture. Visitors can also feed baby pigs, rabbits, squirrels, and black goats. Full of colorful volcanic stone towers in the pine forest, the park is floored with volcanic cinders (called scoria) in its entirety. Incheon(Ganghwa-gun) , Ganghwado Island

First established in Ganghwa-eup during the 5th year of King Injong in the Goryeo Dynasty (1127), Ganghwahyanggyo Confucian School was moved to Ganghwa-gun and then restored at the foot of Buksan Mountain (formally Songaksan Mountain) in 1624 by Sim Yeol during the 2nd year of King Injo. Ganghwahyanggyo Confucian School is regarded as an important cultural and historical site in Ganghwa-eup.
